Looking for some pub recommendations ?

There will be 10-12 people, I presume we will end the night in Smyths.

Is there any pubs in the City with pool tables/ juke box type setup ? Wouldn't mind heading there on the Saturday afternoon for the cure

I think The Windmill had pool tables but you might need to check that info

The square bar up by St Johns Cathedral has a pool table outside in the smoking area.

Sextons had one but I cant be sure since it reopened if its still there. Same again there. In the smoking area.

A group that size I'd go to sextons or the windmill. The cauldron may not be the friendliest to a group of outsider lads taking the table all day

    Cauldron is very local
Windmill is a horrible pub serving all sorts last few years not sure about the pool part
Sextons is all done up now no pool table

For the Saturday I'd recommend heading to curraghower and chilling in the patio area...

Definitely give the cauldron a miss. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

The Glen Tavern is really good actually and they do hand out complimentary food which is always a plus

So does Costellos judging by my last visit. Naive me couldn't understand why there were 6 lads in each cubicle every time I went in..

Agreed, friendly locals and a real hint of old Limerick.

If your acting the complete spanner you maybe told off but thats about it
