Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Liverpool's Rightful Place Restored?

It's well known that Liverpool are the traditional heavyweights of English football. During the 90's, due to poor club management and United's commercialism, they were surpassed somewhat as the "2nd team", or even more insultingly, a "top 4" team. As far as I'm aware, United even passed them out in winning more major honours recently?

But alas, these things go in cycles. Who is the "biggest" team, the one who led the domestic role of honour for 80 years or the one who led for 3 years? It seems the sleeping giant has re-awoken to take it's place back as the top English side, even slaughtering City last year. Their upward trajectory would also suggest they'll be reeling in league titles before long too. Are we in for another 20 years of Liverpool domination?

the one who led the domestic role of honour for 80 years or the one who led for 3 years?

In 1965, the year Liverpool won their first FA Cup, and 16-years before they won their first league cup, Arsenal, Man Utd, Everton and even Aston Villa and Sunderland had at least the same number, and in Arsenal's case, more league titles than Liverpool. So I don't know where you're getting the 80 years from!

Nor do I know who you are referring to when you mention a club who led for 3-years!
