Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I doubt it as all tests have to be in manual cars.

I spoke to an instructor I know just now and was informed that in their case, they will provide lessons in an automatic car but that the learner needs to provide the car.

Was hoping to find an instructor with their own automatic car, bit of a long shot in Donegal I know!

    Thanks for asking, much appreciated!

There is one, alas his name has left me! He does all the Irish wheelchair work but does supply his car for private users too. If you give them a buzz on 074 917 7448 they will help you with his name / number.

Edit; found it McDaid, Raymond, Irish Wheelchair Association School of Motoring. Sent you a PM with his mobile number.

My understanding is you can do your test in an automatic but if you do, you will only be licensed to drive an automatic on passing the test.
