I purchased this spreader and it has settings of 1-10 on it.

No mention of this brand in the mo bacter bags.
Anyone have any idea what number I should set it to?

Never used a spreader before so any tips on use of it also appreciated.
Have about 800m2 to cover and have 4 bags of it.

I have that spreader and I use a setting of 6 to spread the 3-in-1 lawn feed. If you can compare the desired spreading rate of Mobacter to that in a garden centre it might help.

What brand 3-in-1 lawn feed is it you use? (Think there are a lot of them?)

    Thanks

I'll have a look in the shed when I get home, have a bag left I think. Probably Westland.

It took me a bit of trial and error. If you know the area of lawn you want to spread it on, start with the spreader on a low setting and cover the area. If you've used the right amount per m2, great. If not, estimate how much of it you have used compared to what is recommended, and adjust the setting for a second run. You'll get a feel for the right setting then. Can do this with a small area of known size and measure/weigh what you use with the spreader at a low setting, then adjust for the rest of the lawn.
