Moving home and Vodafone TV / broadband

    Hello ,
We have to move house as our tenancy is ending , all we can find is a house about 6 miles from the city (Galway), so we're trying to understand what happens in this case ,
There is definitely no fiber broadband in this area , sadly we still have about 10 months contact ,
If Vodafone cannot give us the service , in this case , will we have to pay out the remainder of the contract ?
Also , let's say that they could only provide mobile broadband , would we still have to cancel the TV broadband and have to pay a cancellation fee , or can they switch us to say mobile broadband without penalities ,
If anyone could shed some light to this it would be appreciated ,
    Thanks

You sure about the new area? The Galway burbs are well covered with FTTH now. Services in the city are much slower than those 10k out the road.

Check the actual Eircode. Your new landlord may need to permit a little drilling.

Very sure yes , this would be only 5 to 6 miles from city ,yet in the middle of nowhere , between furbogh and moycullen , and not on main road .

Ah unfortunate you're out in the bogs. Moycullen is fully live as is the coastline.

You'd have to pay off the full whack outstanding (10 bills worth). Best bet is to try and do a deal with the new tenant.
