Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Prediksi-Skor-Denmark-vs-Republic-Of-Ireland-8-Juni-2019-624x316.jpg

    Match Odds

    Denmark 8/15
    Draw 5/2
    Ireland 6/1

Big game tonight as Ireland once again lock horns with a now familiar foe, Denmark. Will Christian Eriksen put aside the disappointment of losing the Champions League final and once again put us to the sword? Can Mick McCarthy succeed where Martin O'Neill failed?

A part from my doubts about McClean and Brady, happy enough with the team.

Fairly solid team. Happy (and I never thought i'd EVER say this) with Whelan starting. Reckon it'll be nil all, though.

Teams ok. McClean needs a decent game. Would love a scrappy 1-0 victory....the scrappier the better

Would have had Robinson in for Brady, otherwise no complaints.

    COYBIG!

    Second this
some good options from the bench though
Both O Dowd and Robinson to go on when the Danes legs tire after McLean upends them

    Here's the opponents:
Denmark XI: Schmeichel, Larsen, Kjaer, Christensen, Daalsgard, Delaney, Schone, Braithwaite, Eriksen, Poulsen, Jorgensen.

Besides Eriksen, worried about Poulsen who is coming off a great season with Leipzig.

I'd take a draw as I've a bad feeling the Danes will edge it. Hopefully Hourihane's set-pieces are on point as that could be a useful area for us.

Brady should be nowhere near a starting 11. Hopefully there's something from him tonight and really hope they don't let him back anywhere near set pieces.

Same team that played well v Georgia. Only question for me is Doherty being left out, but understandable that he has stayed with the starting line up from the last day

  • Happy with that line up

Nice start from, us, still examples of what pisses me off, a couple of decent positions and that lack of final ball still.

Danger from there. Should avoid giving frees there.

    Decent effort by Eriksen.

Randolph will be busy tonight looks like.

Eriksen will be trying his best to get Real to go after him.

Posted this in the other thread, Is it just me or does the ball tend to stick in the grass a bit? Doesn't seem to flow freely, passes getting stuck

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,563 ✭✭✭The White Feather

This will probably end up 2 or 3 nil for the Danes. Hope I am wrong obviously

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,839 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Fûck sake we are just mega shît in the final third.

They should have 2 players booked already.
Ref getting it hard to give us anything.
