Paying to reserve a train ticket only to get on the train and hear an announcement that the seat reservation system isn't working so ''sit where you find a seat'. Oh and the absolutely disgusting dirt birds who throw rubbish around trains. I felt so sorry for the cleaning lady who was boarding the train as I was getting off it yesterday evening. Some asshole had crushed a tube of pringles all over the carpet, there were bottles rolling around on the floor, a toilet roll on a table and discarded rubbish all over the carriage and that was only one carriage.

Oh and the inconsiderate mammy who stood in the hall and let her toddler run up and down a carriage unsupervised while he annoyed people pulling at them and their stuff, if people can't be arsed to take care of their kids then don't bloody have them. I think that she got on at Portlaoise so she was probably visiting some scrote in jail.

Speaking for me personally, it's for three reasons:

    A) I have a reservation and want to get as close to the coach with my reserved seat.

    B) Trying to simply get to an empty, or less crowded part of the train.

    C) I'm trying to get to a part of the train that is closer to the station exit at my destination.

I picked up all three of these habits back in Austria and Germany, but it's kinda hard to get rid of them :pac:

Yeah true, but watch next time. As soon as the train is pulling in, people almost instinctively en mass walk in the SAME direction (zombie like) as the slow moving train. You NEVER see people walk in the other direction. It's bizarre!

I know what you mean Degsie. Possibly same ones who lurch out of seats and to the carriage doors before the train has pulled in and stand swaying from the poles. I think they press the door button too. Drones give me a giggle.

They do that ^^^ on buses too.I give them the death stare if they start forcing past instead of letting people get off in order. Cant stand people who act like life's a scrum.

TA I smoked an emergency B&H and didn't enjoy it so I want another one because it's unfinished business

Whatever Sunday enter any café in a town or city to encounter an environment where the ALL the other patrons are just there simply to pass the time away on a Sunday. Two to Five bored kids from more than one family are running around the place annoying other customers.

    The restrooms need attention.

Spent half the weekend changing email address for (hopefully) all my logins. Got an email to the old address from one of the service providers who made me provide PayPal transaction ids and account balance information to prove who I was, asking how was the service with the chat rep.

I am anticipating a few companies will have separate correspondence databases that won’t get updated :(

Why do the yanks call the toilets "restrooms"? I've never seen anyone have a rest in a toilet.

That in this day and age a restaurant you may be interested in visiting does not have a website or even just a google link to their menu up.

Why would I take the chance in traveling to a new spot only to find the menu’s crap?! Post your menus ffs!

I'm trivially annoyed that I might be getting to old for gigs (or they're too young for me).

I ventured to Dublin on Friday (having booked into a lovely hotel), went to the gig in The Button Factory, but had the following 'observations':
      • It was absolutely roasting! (yet lads with long hair were covering their heads with thick woolly hats). I used to have long hair, but I never compounded the situation! :pac:
      • An annoying person (and his 'buddy') were chatting all the way through the gig. I was a big fan of their cigarette breaks, though.
      • Afterwards, I sat down on a couch by the cloakroom, to cool down outside of the 'music' area (but in the venue), but some lad tripped and spilled his drink on me, as I got a leg cramp. I couldn't extend by go-go-gadget long leg to deal with the situation (but should have just stood up, in retrospect). Leg-Cramp!!!

I saw a promo for the next Bond film which features the new theme song. If it was in black and white it could pass for one of those arty, pretentious perfume ads. Looks like the film will be caca :(

From day 1 many moons ago, the cursor sticks into magnifying mode, so the screen is increasing, decreasing, increasing... Ffs give my head peace.

Passing food around at an extended family gathering,
I overheard a pair talking about a well know radio personality, the man said that the personality was mad into poodles and the Inla.

Ta'ed I didnt get the opportunity to find out what he actually meant to say.

Northern cans of Guinness. Because they're 440ml there seems to be a tad too much gas in the widget thing leaving too much of a head :(

The Flack thread, we all have done wrong to someone in our lives, so IMO none of us has the right to judge another. She is dead and her family is grieving, leave it at that. No one here knew her on a personal level. So judge yourself before doing it to others.

Go to a public toilet, no coat hook or some eejit thought he would stick it to the man and break the coat hook off.

Toilets in work and people taking the toilet roll home with them.

People in Lidl who have to bag a weeks worth of shopping before they pay for it ensuring the next person cannot pay for their items and be gone. I feel like saying something but it's really not worth it.

Just TA in general at those threads and the posters on them as if anyone who actually knew and loved the girl gives a toss what posters on Boards say. Whether its RIP or saying mean things or defending her or whatever. Nobody who actually knew her even sees this stuff yet half the nation (it seems) is squabbling about it in Boards as if it is what they think that matters.

More bed based annoyances, oh sometimes brushes her hair in bed leaving stray hairs on the sheets and it gets my goat something awful.

Puts her freezing cold feet on my legs to warm them up, i'm not a bloody hot water bottle.

Household items that don't perform the one and only task for which they are designed. Absolutely boils my piss that some of the stuff ever even makes it to market..........

      [snip]

I mean, the vast majority of these things......that's all they're designed to do, and they fail miserably.

      YOU HAD ONE F*CKING JOB!

Following on from this post, a number of others which have come to light recently......

Ice cube trays, from which it is impossible to extract the ice
Ice cube trays which crack and shatter as you twist and bang them to get the ice out
Ketchup/mayo squeezy bottles that have 1/3rd of the sauce still in the bottle but it won't come out no matter how much you try
Teapots/jugs/measuring containers that don't pour properly and the liquid dribbles down the outside
frying pans that have raised centres so the butter/oil pools around the edges where it is coldest
Veg peelers that can't withstand a little bit of pressure and fall apart
Sinks/plugholes that get clogged for no reason
Ironing boards that aren't fit for purpose
"Dog" toys that fall apart after 2 mins

You'll be more annoyed when they bring in a black lesbian who identifies as a man, a part time James/Jasmine Bond. Laugh while you may it's only a matter of time before James becomes an ethnic minority or changes gender, diversity and all that.:D

I do think Idris Elba would make a great James Bond.

Not that I'm suggesting he's a closet lesbian, mind.

Can't stand Dr Who but my husband has been a huge fan since the early 70's but has given up since yer woman took over. He gave it a chance, wasn't really too bothered about it being a woman but is sick and tired of the wokeness and feeling lectured to. It's no longer Dr Who, it's a basic woke fest for St Greta fans and the BBC's diversity drive.

They should use a Mexican, why I can see it all now.He strolls into the cantina with his tipped boots and bola tie.Orders up a Tequila and beer and announces himself to the people there."Hola amigos mi nombre es Bond, Juan Bond."heh.
