Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A fella came into the small museum I work in today with his young son and never made any effort to pay. I wouldn't mind if he only stayed for a quick look (quite often a kid would be mad keen to go in), but he stayed a good while and never acknowledged the fact that there may be an entrance fee.

There are at least three price-lists on the way in, and I mean what does he think we have a till for? I would never pester a visitor for the money, and I've sometimes waived the entrance fee if they genuinely didn't have money on them (we don't have a card machine), but this was blatant ignorance. What's even madder is that the son returned about ten minutes later with his granny, and it didn't occur to her that there may be an admission price either.

And during his visit, the father then proceeded to allow his son to run around trying to pick up everything. It's a museum not a play-zone.

Just curious, what kind of museum is it?

Love maritime history, what is the town if you don't mind me asking, and I will give it a look. I had a great uncle who was on the USS Arizona.

Not trivial, but mass shootings...another in Germany... why?

Still annoying to see people with hundreds/thousands of posts who cannot quote posts properly. Some threads look a mess.

Thanks again to the poster who advised googling the resetting procedure for my washing machine.
It's now going hell for leather :) I use it up to 15 times a day for my work so the relief is immeasurable.

TA the dog shoved past me and whatever way I was pushed over my shoulder hurts even though I didn't fall. TA bold dogs! And TA her owner never trained her or paid for training, now thats my responsibility :(

Vogue Whatsherface whining in the paper about how she worries about her son growing up with all the nasty things people write on Social Media. Well how about you stop using your child to make money on cheap shows? When you sell out your child's privacy to further your own career and make money from them you take away that child's right to privacy and open them up to public scrutiny. Fooking attention whore.

Her having a go at one of the Kardashiandroids for advertising some bs slimming drink, getting on her high horse. I think it's just jealousy because she is making millions and Vogue can't get out of the minor leagues.

What sickens me is that she's actually using someone's death as an opportunity to self promote and using her child as a means to that end. Most people with a high public profile try to keep their children totally out of the limelight so that they can try to have some sort of normality in their lives but that poor kid has been used as a pawn since she got pregnant. Herself and that waste of space she married should get real jobs.

Someone with a foraging wild food page on Facebook keeps putting up recipes for her wild "sources". Nettle and wild garlic source. Mushroom source. Urgh.

I made nettle soup once and it was vile, like super intense spinach, yuk!

Bank machines, why are you giving me the option to take 70 out if you don't have any 20 notes. When the machine is out of 20s that option should disappear from the screen.

The irony being, she had a 'real job' after splitting with McFadden (as much as having shows on RTE constitutes a real job), but for some strange reason hasn't done anything since she married that reality tv 'star'.

    I wonder why?

Ffs, all I want was a protein burst of scrambled and bacon.

Being forced to rely on people who are completely untrustworthy and wouldn't know how/ want not to put themselves first if someone else's life depended on it. Selfish, self-centred egotistical, arrogant stuck-up bastards, basically. If you aren't willing to help, don't act like you do and then let everyone down when it's most important and people don't have the chance to make other arrangements. If you aren't willing to help, at least don't boycott and hinder the efforts of those who do, while paying lip service. F*cking liars.

Phlegm. I've got a chest infection that's almost gone but the phlegm is driving me nuts. I've got antibiotics, I've tried Sudafed but it's still not going and it makes me feel queasy. Also, last weekend when I had a sore throat the tonic water in my gin was making my throat feel sorer. That's just not fair.

Try Exputex it loosens phlegm and lets you cough it up . Just don’t take it at bedtime as it makes you cough more

Going to a coffee machine, making your coffee, then go to the milk dispenser to find it’s empty. It only gets annoying when you walk over to the milk dispenser at the other coffee machine and find that’s empty too

TA at getting excited when I see a TV series has been made of a book I really enjoyed (NOS4A2, Joe Hill) and getting bored on episode 2. Sometimes stories are best left at the book.
