Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

so far, not a single response!

Being too comfy and lazy to get up and go to the loo during the night despite knowing full well you'd sleep much better if you did.

Yesterday we had a guy in to give a talk on a certain aspect of people handling,
he is very handsome, well spoken, lovely mannered and contradicted himself in every single sentence(I also wonder where is got his so called experised in this area, but I digress)

Today all I hear is how insightful and useful his talk was.:confused::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    1. Paschal Donohoe on Pat Kenny show this morning, making everything he said sound like a question.

    2. Kept saying 'respond back'. You reply, revert or respond - you do not reply back, revert back or respond back.

    Trivial AF.

And he constantly says "the reason why"

That breaks my heart. Apparently as long as the dog gets fresh food and water once a day it's not neglect  Try telling that to the dog :(

Our next door neighbours never let their dogs out of the back garden. Boggles the mind why they bother keeping them. They go for regular walks and don't take the dogs!

Two days in a row, I've received the same generic letter from Prepay Power, addressed to "Dear busy parent...". It partly annoys me because it's unsolicited but also the assumption that the house-owner is a parent. Even if I were a parent, I think it'd still annoy me...

As if I'd be busy!!! :pac:

I'm trying to start the curly girl method (it's for people with curly hair) so that I'll have fabulous curls. However it's nearly impossible to find shampoo and conditioner without sulphates or silicones. Argh.

The “brown” bin around this time of year. It’s a bloody nightmare to go near it.

In London today. Just remembered the handful of sterling change that's been sitting on my chest of drawers for 18 months.

Agree but what's worse is people who don't move up in the queue and can make it confusing for people who are joining where the end of the queue is.

Generally don't mind one person joining a friend further up the queue but had it recently with a group of travellers who all three joined their buddy who was at the top of the queue and they were all counting out small change to pay with, all I could do was laugh.

You should bring the stray cat in and let them adopt you. They can kill the flies for you.

No because I already have my own pet cat and I fear the sh*tting stray one is looking at my one for dinner.

Actually! My bf must’ve created a boards account moons ago and doesn’t use it. He showed me an email a few days ago saying he got a pm and it was something weird like that.

Am I stuck with that faux pm forever? Damn you Sarah

I shouldn't think so. Mine took a few minutes to clear after I realised I got one.
