Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

transfer from mallorca airport to cala d'or

    Hi all. What is the best way to get to cala dor from the airport. Looking up private transfers and they are looking for 200 euro. Is there better deals out there?

    I used Balearic Transfers to travel from airport to Palma Nova.

    Last year we used travel republic's (travelrepublic dot ie) coach to and from Cala d'Or.
    They have two coach options, the much dearer one has less stops and is generally quicker than the cheaper option which has more stops, we went for the cheaper one.
    The coaches were modern and very comfortable with reclining seats and air-con etc.
    For us it was huge difference in cost compared to private hire, so a no brainer to use them.
    The coaches are located just outside the arrivals area, so no long walks, and they drop and pick you up right outside the door of the hotel.
    Highly recommended, and I would use them again.

    Current price for Aug 2019 Palma airport to Cala d'Or return.

    according to the airport website, a taxi from the rank is €85

    I am in Majorca two or three times per year and only ever get cabs from the rank. The rate quoted on the table is about what I pay, so it seems to be pretty accurate.

    They are 5 of us going so that's why the price is expensive
