Hi, I recently joined eir after being with Virgin for many years. Has anyone here got experience with exceeding 1TB on the above package? In the terms and conditions they say you will be charged extra for going over but others on here say that they are no longer enforcing this limit. Have Eir relaxed this at all does anyone know?

At present I use about 5-600GB a month. I'm just thinking down the road with Google stadia I may exceed 1TB. If it's a case that they definitely do charge for going over then I will wait until my contract is finished and switch back to virgin before splashing out on Stadia.

    Once its recent you're safe.

For those customers who signed up prior to 25th July 2018, eir Fibre packages with unlimited usage are subject to a Fair Usage policy of 1TB per
month; usage in excess of 1TB will be charged at €2.50 (inc. VAT) for every 10 GB up to maximum of €100 (inc. VAT) per month. This is not
applicable to customers who sign up on or after 25th July 2018.

Keep a copy of that PDF in case you were to run into a dispute later on.

PS: Itll probably take stadia years to come to Ireland just like many other Google products.

Launches in Ireland in November with the rest of the countries. Surprised myself, but makes sense having stadia servers here too.
