Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking to go to Majorca (Mallorca ?) end of August.

We don’t want to stay in the south west, Palma area.

We’d prefer to try north west (Pollenca) or south east of the island.

Any suggestions for hotels? Any views on self-catering?

We don’t want to hire a car, so we want to be near the coast.

    Thanks!

    D.

Stayed in Porto Pollenca last year . I couldn't have stayed without a car . But then we would not enjoy sitting on a beach all day .So we took trips around the north coast
We stayed in an apartment about 7 minutes walk to the prom . Its was fine with a pool etc. Aparmento Llevant

Did you book flights/apartment/car separately or a package?

    Thanks.

    I booked everything seperately online . Flights , car , apartment .
The journey from aiport to Port da Pollenca is more than an hour . But it's a lovely quiet beautiful place . No crowds , no yobs , no night clubs . Lovely restaurant and a safe beach and lovely walks
