Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

VAR getting that wrong is unforgivable. No surprise we aren't seeing the picture with the lines.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Well at least got that view eventually

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,417 ✭✭✭.G.

Couldn't sees the player making the pass in the same photo though.

I can't believe that line tbh

Bruge have enough pace to press this RM midfield harder than they are doing.

Neither can I. He still looked off.

Hate the inconsistency in giving cards for time wasting. Where's that gears grinding thread

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Mig booked for time wasting, I hope Bruge know he conceded an indirect free kick and a goal for Liverpool once doing that.

Real in full con the ref mode.

Who's your one so the RTE panel?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Oh hello, there's the red card for Bruge but it was deserved.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Vormer given a second yellow. Think it's a fair call.

Going to be massive pressure now.

And it's 2-2. What a double whammy. Now Brugge have to make sure they don't lose this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

    Great goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,661 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

    Ah bollocks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,712 ✭✭✭Sawduck

Vormer is a muppet, Madrid have this now

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Good grief two Bruge players left the ball for each other and RM said thank you. No harm done.

They are in panic mode now - stupid loft out of play instead of passing wide into space.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

What an opportunity to win it for the sub.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Terrific tie, Bruge should hang on from here.

    2-2 FT

It ends 2-2. A fun game. Brugge deserved something for their efforts tonight.

Spurs vs Bayern looks the pick of the evening games. Team news:
Tottenham XI: Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Sissoko, Winks, Ndombele; Alli; Kane, Son.

Bayern XI: Neuer; Pavard, Boateng, Sule, Alaba; Kimmich, Tolisso; Gnabry, Coutinho, Coman; Lewandowski.

Fantastic, Bayern now to beat Tottenham and I'll sleep like a baby tonight.

Great game. Pity Brugge couldn't hold out - great chance to knick it at the end - but fair play to them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

It's pretty embarrassing for Real that they won a European Cup 16 months ago & spend 300m the past summer but still look absolutely rubbish.
God help them in the knockouts as VAR can only be so creative.

Another terrible centre back pairing of Suele & Boateng start at centre half for Bayern Munich which has to give Spurs some hope.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Wow Shakhtar won it in injury time against Atalanta. That's a hammer blow to their hopes.

Pity Brugge couldn’t hold on. Would have made it interesting if Madrid lost first 2 games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,661 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

    Dirty from Aurier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

That was very obviously deliberate by Aurier, but he has form for acting like a nutcase.

Yeah not like there's any video assisted replays that could have intervened or anything...
