Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nothing about Hogan has excited me yet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,711 ✭✭✭This is it

Hogan, give the ****ing ball ffs, player all alone up front

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,326 ✭✭✭alta stare

We really need to sign a top quality playmaker and a striker this summer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,386 ✭✭✭jprender

Hogan wouldn’t get his place on the Gibraltar team

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,989 ✭✭✭johnnyryan89

I think we’ve done okay but woefully lacking up front

We've been woefully lacking up front for quite awhile. I'd be whipping Hogan off at half time and move Robinson up to play alongside McGoldrick.

Not impressed with Hogan at all. 3 or 4 offsides and a few misreadings with Coleman.

    We are hopeless up front.

We must have money to burn after selling Rice...

Chipolina with more international goals than any of the strikers he's playing against put together. :-)

Canada v Cameron on 35 minutes if you want to pass the half time gap

Poor Cameron, he's gonna be bolloxed.

Hogan has scored 9 goals in his last 64 games in the championship.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,306 ✭✭✭sonic85

Take off Hogan put Robinson up front and bring on Doherty on the right. That's what id do for the second half.

To be honest though we've been rank in midfield. Bar Robinson theres been not one bit of creativity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

Is that Rhodri Giggs Paddy Power ad the most low-rent thing ever made?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,607 ✭✭✭TheCitizen

Uninspiring. McCarthy is holding a grudge if Doherty doesn't appear after half-time.

Yep. A disgraceful decision from McCarthy leaving him out given the others he’s choosing from. Get Doherty and Maguire on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,468 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

Stick Robinson out left (seems to have a quality left foot on him) and someone else out right.

And McClean anywhere but on the pitch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,839 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

The add : it’s not just the atmosphere that’s electric

Bring O'Dowda on for McClean too.

Robinson lively only real highlight. Stevens good too.

They would want to stop showing that goal it gets worse with every view. It was almost so far wide it could of hit a steward outside the stadium.

Zero thought and invention up front.

    Yes

Again have we had a shot on target against Gibraltar?

It's Paddy Power making such an ad given the subject matter that's low rent.

Obviously Ryan Giggs is a roach but it's not really an amusing tale and the brother is painted as a desperate loser. Almost taken advantage of.

Insult to injury comes to mind.

Paddy Power's advertising department like there ads or not is one of the best in the business and if they got it wrong the ad would still not be airing 6 months later.

If it's still airing it's working and that's all that matters to PP.

How do you get a few promising Brazilian young fellas to move to Ireland for five years?

Would they like Gort do you think?

Probably. Says a lot for the people that it's 'working' for all the same. But hey ho.

    Yes

Again have we had a shot on target against Gibraltar?

We have managed a goal without one shot on target. Gibraltar don't have any on target either. 11 shots altogether that were nowhere near the target.

    Not good.

Nah, I think he’s taking the piss out of his brothers scumbag behavior and getting a few quid at the same time. He’s entitled to show him up for the creep that he is and keep reminding everyone about it. Ryan Giggs shouldn’t be manager of Wales, not fit for such a role, poor from the Welsh FA there.

It is hardly going effect Ryan Giggs ability to manage the players is it?
He was not hired as a social worker.

Robinson and Coleman are the only ones looking to make things happen.

The cringeworthy stuff was when the Welsh FA appointed Ryan Giggs as their national team manager.
