That goal doesn't make it any better, brutal performance.

    What a ball by Hourihane

Hasn’t been great but his set pieces get him into the team alone

Him & Duffy a dangerous combo

That Brady goal will be used if asked why Doherty didn't play

First good cross and we score

Did Coleman’s throw bounce before it entered play?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,385 ✭✭✭Nerdlingr

    He nearly missed it.

Great ball by McClean in fairness..

That Gibraltar keeper was useless. An utter disgrace to only score 2 tonight. Shambolic stuff

Ronnie genuinely sounds disappointed we scored a second.

Knows it'll paper over the cracks.

2-0, comfortable victory, clean sheet and ten points is the line they'll run with.

Yep 2-0 looks a hell of a lot better tbf

Actually first decent play we score.

A bit of class from all 3 players

If i were an Ireland player on the pitch tonight id be embarrassed celebrating a goal after a performance like that.

Forget the late gloss, this performance was a shambles. Mick, you're no longer in the state of grace. And don't swerve the Doherty question.

    Great game onwards and upwards

The FAI have been papering over the cracks for over a decade now.

Ronnie genuinely sounds disappointed we scored a second.

Do you expect him to sound happy about that performance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,480 ✭✭✭✭Green&Red

Was there a reason Brady didn’t start?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,385 ✭✭✭Nerdlingr

4 strikers on the pitch tonight for us, think they had one shot on target between them. Against Gibraltar.

They celebrated that second like it was a World Cup winning goal. A bit embarrassing especially after that performance

So I’ll ask again - is there a reason Brady didn’t start?

    Utter, disgraceful rubbish all night.

Should have been 8 or 9 nil not 2.

Mick shouldn't have been put in on a 2 year fixed contract. It totally devalues everything he does and makes the lads less likely to work for him.
You could hear him screaming all night.
The FAI are a total joke.

Ireland play alright against adversity but when there is any sort of expectation fall over.

Because they sat back with 10 behind the ball.

Not making excuses. We're just a side with absolutely no creativity and no flair players available. We'll never play well against a team that sits back like that. The result was to be expected.

    Didi contemplating life after that

To be fair, he made a few good saves.

He never sounds happy. I think he hates football.

    I said the other night.

    Look at the players.

1 or 2 are in the PL.

    Let’s be realistic.

And one EPL player left sitting on the bench. What’s the excuse for that?

That's pretty much irrelevant with regards to tonight though - every player in our squad plays at a higher level than every single player in their squad.

Yeah and the Gibraltar players are taxi drivers and postmen.

It's always postmen isn't it? My conclusion is that the Mail Services in minnow countries must slaughter every other civil department in the night owl leagues.

Yep. Don’t think we’ll see much of him in the coming years. He doesn’t even look like he looks after his general fitness.
