Don't know how Brian is still starting David Reidy. A good player but at the moment he's just not playing up to standard. You could have started Diarmuid Ryan.

Pat O Connor and Diarmuid Ryan injured as well? Or just dropped?

It's harder to get off this team than it is to get onto it

    Dropped I think

Pat O'Connor is probably getting dropped. More than Likely Brian wants to keep Ryan in reserve.

    Pat O’Connor is starting

And Jason McCarthy instead of Golden apparently

And David Fitzgerald starts instead of Shanagher (assume injured?)

Absolute balls, Shanagher injured in the warmups

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,144 ✭✭✭letowski

Guilfoyle will be the target full forward now

Clare are playing with a gale at their backs today but not puttin anyone into the full forward line. Braindead tactics!

    Brutal stuff so far.

This is terrible, playing with only 2 forwards in the Wexford half when we have a gale is brain dead

4 2 at the water break, terrible hurling so far

It’s not just that either. Should we not be pushing up on the puck outs??

Seem to be letting them get up the field too easily.

Some really good proper tackling from the Clare backs - credit where credit is due

We are conceding the whole of the Wexford half

    That’s ridiculous from TK

They've so many numbers back they've a massive advantage

What a difference pushing up on the puck out is making

Lads, as bad as the tactics look, jamming the 40 where Wexford like to score is working ,, 3 points conceded after 20mins is decent.

There's a gale blowing and Wexford have had some bad wides so it's not that great a performance

Could be a Wexford red here

2 yellows, that took a lot of working out

True, that wind is very strong though, the ball is nearly stopping in the air on the puck outs

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

What the flying **** like. Absolutely screw job for Clare. Just how does Dave Mac get a red and then that’s Austin gleeson and the Wexford player getting away with the same.

Wexford are really struggling on the frees
