What a great year to win promotion from the Championship.

Has there ever been worse, semi permanent, Premier league clubs than Palace and Newcastle ?

It might be a weird year whereby 2 or 3 of the promoted clubs stay up.

I see zero chance for the teams I’ve mentioned unless there are big changes at those clubs. Very very poor squads. Shocking managers.

****ing FPL ‘making’ me watch the United v Palace game now.

    The things we do eh.

At least United look much better, going forward, this season.

Would still be my first choice for relegation.

They do defend well, but deep, and I don’t think that’ll be enough in this league. An injury to Milo or Zaha would almost certainly relegate them.

Unlike Newcastle I wouldn’t necessarily captain against Palace every week because they are organised whereas Newcastle look a shambles.

They are still my first to picks to be relegated.

In fairness United will be much better against a higher line. They have, what looks like, a fairly young front 3 and that maybe was their undoing today. A bit of an older head may have helped break Palace down. Surprised Mata didn’t get at least an half hour.

No idea how Lingard gets into that team. He honestly looks like a guy from that tv show ‘faking it’, or whatever it was called, when someone does a crash course on how to be something and then tries to pass themselves off as it.

    Seriously?

They're 14/1 to finish bottom, if I was you I'd be all over that.

I mean those two teams. Newcastle being worse than Palace.

I'm expecting a rake of penalties next weekend after the media attention this weekend. Makes me a tiny bit more scared to captain Sterling.

What's the thoughts on the optimum formation this year? I've had 3-5-2 so far but there is some nice mid range strikers appearing so I'm coming round to the idea of 3-4-3 for when I wildcard. Any opinions?

Jeaysus the lad in joint first left Pukki and Vardy on the bench to start king

And also played Lundstrum, Dunk and Monreal over them

Who am I to 2nd guess them but seems odd

Some of these guys who find themselves up there early will end up behind you, often way behind you. The reasons for this can be obvious sometimes.

Read somewhere that Adam Johnson has more assists in the last 6 years than Lingaard and he has been in jail for the last 3

    GW 1 9 C.S.
    GW 2 2 C.S.
    GW 3 3 C.S.

The last 2 gws have been extremely low for C.S . I've no doubt the amount of C.S will bounce back up to a more normal level over the next few weeks. It seems like a good idea to be offloading expensive defenders but I think it will prove a bad move.

What was the average per week last year for context?

Was actually looking into this earlier today. 16 CS first 3GW last season, 14 this.
Liverpool had 3 last season and none this, so basically Adrian is the difference :)

An average of 5.5 cs per week. The last two weeks are way below that.

Hmmm I was half considering that Soyuncu lad as a 4.5 rotating defender on WC, am I mad?

Been thinking this. City and Liverpool especially will start keeping clean sheets.

Meanwhile TAA attacking stats are just mental. So are Zinchenkos.

Yeah but regardless of his own performances, I'd be looking for clean sheets from him and can we rely on a Rodgers team to deliver them?

    That’s the problem
Still at 4.5 I’ll be monitoring for when they have a good run
I mean I have Cathcart is anyone is an improvement
