Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just got an email saying my appeal had been allowed and I would get a full refund! No more detail given.

    Hooray! Justice at last! 😜

This is great news! Congrats. I got a rejection from RFC and have now appealed to NTA so fingers crossed for same result.

Jesus Christ - the grammar in letter that is absolutely abysmal.

Personally, I would never pay a private company. I got clamped in February this year - technically my fault and all the rest but I got a mate to give me a lift to work the next day and then after work went to another friends to borrow his angle grinder. Car was there for nearly 24 hours before I got around to cutting the thing off. Seeing the clowns face when he arrived back to the mangled chain and clamp dumped in the same spot would've been a nice bonus but Champions League was on that night and the €125 I saved was satisfaction enough.

a criminal act of damage without even the excuse of believing you have been wrongly clamped.

According to the official terms of having an appeal upheld RFC have 14 days to give me my money. So the deadline is the 29th. Wonder what happens if they miss it? Do I get to charge interest?! 😀

You could probably send in a sheriff to seize goods to settle the debt, you might end up owning a clamping van and some clamps yet :D

Start with a good read, this would seem to cover the basics.
