    If you're looking for something a bit special, Ballymaloe House (home of the Allen cookery school) have a restaurant which is fantastic, only a 7 minute drive from Ballycotton: https://ballymaloe.ie/our-restaurant-cork/our-restaurant

    I can add that Finín's (75 Main St. Midleton) is also very good. There's a place on Distillery Walk, beside Dontatello's, called "Surf 'n' Turf". It's only there about twelve months, but Woman had a three course lunch there yesterday and pronounced it excellent and decently-priced.
