I planted a few corn on the cobs in pots in utility room. They've grown great, but I think it's time to plant outside
Will they survive our Irish weather?
I will harden off for a few days before planting out
I understand they are wind pollinated too
    Any advice?

I always grow them. Some years they ripen better than others. Get them outside soon. They are wind pollinated so plant in a group rather than in rows.

    Thanks for your reply Srameen
I'd be delighted if they grew and produced!

That's why my wife planted them in groups...every days a school day:)

My Mother-in-law used to grow them in a sheltered suburban Dublin garden: but they need a hot summer to ripen well.
May be lucky, may be not.
