It’s a bit more complicated than that; it is still private access to add content to the site.

    That is a fact.

I also know that facts aren't important anymore.

Well your own posts back that statement up pretty solidly.

I am Joey. I'm very upset. I'm entitled to be too.

    We are all entitled.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Well considering myself and Joey were messaging back and forth and you just jumped in talking about yourself then I guess that does make you entitled.
Or maybe not. It's hard to tell these days

Why do people like thurnberg/chu want to raise taxation? For the laugh?

because theyve bought into the idea that if ordinary people in the western world give up tax money and abandon plastic / cars / meat that it will somehow save the world, when in reality we should be looking at stopping trade deals like the one which allows south american beef to flow in on the cheap, encourage buying local produce to reduce food miles , heavily condemning asia, africa and south amercia for their polluting practice, allow nuclear power and encourage making cheap solutions for consumers which are greener rather than allow rampantly wasteful government spending to enforce anything.

Actually people should be strongly encouraged to not buy meat at all, especially beef, even if it is local.

I think Eric presented us with a list of A or B when in reality A and B are needed.

Seems shes cooling off on Google and today going to do a "tour of their destruction of this historic part of Dublin where our patriots died for our freedom".

She mostly comes across as very poorly informed. In her latest rant she's banging on about the present day destruction of the historical site of Boland's Mill. The Boland's Mill she wants the patriots of Ireland to protect was built after the founding of the state.

The Boland's Mill of the rebellion times was located where the Treasury Building is today.

    She really in quite dense.

The stone mills building was there in 1916 alright (not the concrete ones, where the ‘Masonic satanic mills’ buildings are going up now), but was never a garrison. It reputedly had a couple of lads in it to evacuate it, and who helped themselves to some flour, but the hold out was in the bakery and stables, where Treasury Building is now.

She keeps going on about the men who died at Bolands/Barrow street too - when no-one was actually killed. You have to go up to Mount street bridge to find the nearest place of death for anyone.

Pretty clear to most people that the EU nor Fine Gael are not communist. Google are not communist either. Surely all can agree on that? She wrote in the socialist Village magazine for years, surely she's knows what a communist is.

The only communists in this country are the minor Communist Party of Ireland and their youth wing the James Connolly Movement. They have no power or influence at all.

Her thicko supporters will believe whatever she says. Some of them believe we live in a communist country now.

Its a mob mentality of ignorance. Some of them are willing just to be a part of a community. They're sad lonely people who just want to be part of something. She knows this.

Ireland against Fascism Facebook page seems to be under restrictions.

Why are they all complaining about it? They themselves were quick to point out that Facebook are a private company and are free to restrict/censor whomever they like right?
