I am due to travel to the uk tomorrow with irish ferries to holyhead and i've just realised i lost my driving license. I have passport
    I was due to drive.
I am prepared to chance it over there as im only going for the day but wondering will they even
let me board in the car without driving license?

They don't look for a licence when checking in or boarding.

Don't drive in the UK without your licence. It's not the same as Ireland.
