Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey lads Do any of you have nay thoughts on the Passat 2tdi are they decent cars ? If I get one it would be around a 14 one, Just looking at alternatives to the Superb ,

2014 would be the last production year of the B7 model Passat so most of the issues with that model would have been ironed out by then. Irish Highline trim would be the one to go for as they added extra standard equipment on them that year such as touchscreen stereo, full leather interior and xenon headlights to shift them before the new B8 model appeared in early 2015.

Just be wary of high mileage or ones with mysterious history examples especially UK ones being sold cheap as they hide high mileage well. Other common Passat problems to look out for would be the usual worn suspension and clutch/flywheel.
