He said that there were very fine people on both sides. That's quite clear to me.

Doesn't contradict mine and other side you had the Nazis/ANTIFA clique.

If you feel the need to think he was talking about the Nazis on one hand, you'd have to think he feels the same about their cousins in ANTIFA.

    On both sides.

Nothing in green deal suggests elimination of air travel. That's was a Republican talking point. Obviously Green Deal is hugely ambitious and likely couldn't be implemented for another 30 years but it would see huge changes in how the US is run.

It was a 10 year plan.

This is the quote about planes.
"...build out high-speed rail at a scale where air travel stops becoming necessary."

Either way, if you agree with the specifics of it or not, she and her team claimed Republicans doctored the release then sent people onto television to lie about it. Cortez then retweeted those lies for damage control, some of which got over a 100k likes.

Obvously its not so clear to many others, people whos position is far more important than yours.

The American voter does not seem to think its so clear, judging by Trumps approval ratings .
The donor community do not seem to think its so clear judging by the 100 million he raised recently.
The bookmakers do not think its so clear judging by the odds Trump has on reelection.

So your clarity is merely your opinon on an event, the ones that really matter, likely voters and likely donors are not so concerned .

Still equates to calling neo-Nazis very fine people IMO. Took him over 48 hours to make a statement as I recall as well.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.

    but...but...but...AOC!!

Nice try but it all falls apart as soon as the Dems settle on a candidate.

Trump railing against 4 of about 500 members of the house is a joke.

so now the anti-Trumpers claim that bringing a bill to the floor and having an open democratic vote on it is pulling a fast one.

Since when is allowing a vote on something " A FAST ONE "

And then to claim plenty of Senators support it, is an even further stretch.

THERE WERE 0 ZERO SENATORS VOTED FOR THE GREEN NEW DEAL

ZERO ... and you claim many Senators support it ...

Is this a new Democrat and anti-Trump position on voting practice?
Allowing a vote to take place is a fast one and not voting for something means we support it.

It was pushed through the vote without the plan being given a national debate or hearings in Congress. That's how McConnell like to work but I wonder if shoe was on other foot and Democrats had majority if he would be happy that they ram everything through without debate and before anyone had read it. A republican plan emerges..let's destroy it on TV and vote immediately on it.

Republicans and their financial backers in the oil/energy/aviation/automobile industry don't want anything of this nature gaining momentum hence it's quickly stamped out. We saw how Van Jones was turned into public enemy number one after a smear campaign against him from the right when he tried to propose an environmental deal in 2008.

    No matter.

I'm not buying it to be honest. If he sincerely felt so strongly about it, he wouldn't have waited 48 hours to condemn it in the limp-wristed manner he did.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.

Well Peddlies blew that out of the water in some style.

Given the furore over Biden touchiness with women, this is a pretty distasteful video of Trump clearly leaching after much younger women.

I don't know how to answer your questions satisfactorily, according to you Trump is a child rapist.

It's simple - you could say that trump should condemn people associated with child rape and racism. But of course, then the world's hypocrisy meter would melt.

I'd also like to clarify that it was you, and a filing in a court in California that claim Trump as a child rapist, not me. I have made no such assertion on this forum. He is, however, closely associated with [the case].

I know. It's the clowns parroting it like everyone should be truly terrified of this 1% of the house vrs two braches of government for the republicians. They're the joke.

I get it's his best tactic. You obviously have some sense and see through it clearly.

that shoe "Abandon Airplanes " will NEVER be on a republican foot.

ZERO DEMOCRATS SENATORS voted for it .. ZERO , and you still cry foul ..

    The Republicans are master politicians

Every time they beat a Democrat , the Democrats and anti-Trumpers cry foul.

Given they have spent 2 years complaining about losing the last Presidential election it will be interesting to see if they have the viscereal hatred to continue moaning for another 6 years given they look likely to lose 2020.

I really don't think he is: again it feels like there's interpretation of strategy with a man who has proved time and time again that he doesn't go by a script, or any particular direction for even the length of a simple press conference. His campaign so far has consisted of his love-in rallies, and ... well, that's kinda it.

His ego is incredibly brittle, the recent UK ambassador debacle should prove that alone, and seems incapable of dealing with any criticism, be it direct or tangential.

To be fair, this is all Phoney War stuff: until the Democrat field narrows and the real debates can begin, this is exactly the kind of 'news' we can expect. People said bad things about Trump, so Trump must say bad things in response.

    That's disappointing all round.

If you hate Trump, its disappointing.

If you like Trump, its disappointing, not like he is bug eyed at a bikini trampoline contest.

The trouble for Biden is his handsy approach to pre teens. He may indeed be just touchy feely but he cones across as very disturbing.

I'm aware of the accusation. I'm also aware that Women were paid money to make false accusations in 2016.

Innocent until proven guilty and all that.

Seems to me that he did. He's a proven liar so I won't afford much to his denial to be honest. I mean, at the very least these are people who were happy to march with Neo-Nazis.

I was going to ask how many rape allegations has Biden got against him, or wives, or how many times he cheated on those wives, or if he made lecherous comments about his own daughter, or if he was caught paying hush money to porn stars, or playboy bunnies, but there's no point...

You should also be aware of the far, far greater number of women who were *not* paid and who have made serious allegations, including the man's own wife.

Where there is smoke, and all that.

Donor community? Is that a euphemism for billionaires and foreign powers? Who comprise this "donor community"?

deplorables and what did someone refer to them earlier as , knuckle draggers I expect .

The average donation to the Trump campaign is of the order of 35 bucks.

but if it helps you with your clarity you are free to believe Trump is only supported by billionaires and foreign powers , and you can ignore the many reports that millions of small donations make up a significant portion of his donor community

Introduction of high speed rail across the country and giving consumers more choice does not equal elimination of air travel. I thought Republicans were against monopolies like the airlines have on long distance travel.

When Dems take control of Senate again I hope there isn't too much complaining if they push through healthcare/gun control etc without consulting their Republican colleagues because that's the format McConnell has created

Sorry, are you trying to imply that the video shows everything?

The man had a party for him and his mates with a load of young women and even in that short clip there is plenty of touching going on?

And we all know about Epstein.

Disappointing? You make it sound like a game.

I'm know he's a womanizing sleaze who's done bad things, obviously not going to attempt defending that. I'll still have to fall short of calling him a child rapist though as if it's a fact.

I don't normally take much interest in US politics. Biden did an excellent interview on Nick Clegg's podcast a while back. I found it really depressing when the allegations about him came out.

typical anti-Trumper Democrat supporter, their history lessons only go back to some point in time of their choosing or perhaps their learning
you might want to recheck your history
Harry Reid and the Democrats in 2013 seemed okay with using the nuclear option to bypass senate 2/3rds majority voting requirements.

by all means if Democrats start using political methodology to achieve their ends it will be a welcome change from their current policy of shouting racist every second sentence.

Awesome work Rigolo. We love you, don't ever change.
