I don’t subscribe to socialism anyway for a start

Then you would disapprove of Trump having to bail out farmers to the tune of 16 billion as a direct result of his trade tariffs.

The VA which you mentioned is a public service, which is a form of socialism. Like most public services.

These two have been wheeled out at Trump conventions/ rallies and appear regularly on Fox News.

    Let that sink in.

They make Ben Shapiro look smart.

Trump didn’t turn around the economy, Obama did.

Trump's contemporaneous speaking skills highlighted in this exchange with a Nobel Peace Prize winner. She pointed out that she & her family are Yazidis from Iraq. Her family was wiped out by ISIS. Trump then burbled about ISIS is gone, and 'where is your family now?' "They killed them." Oh.

But, I'd suspect that as a woman, Trump wasn't really listening to what she was saying. He's that way.

Didn't take too long. Mueller's team found the child porn on this Trump appartchik's phone during his investigation, and forwarded the information on. Now, Nader's under indictment. Those wheels of Justice grind slowly but the long arm of the law is indeed long.

What kind of person is friends with five paedophiles?

    Well, Trump, obviously.

Apparently there's some nonsense rule in the House that you're not allowed to call the President racist, or so I've read.

    Yes there are.

There are so many more achivements that Trump has done I was going to try and list a few more but it was too big so here are just a few select highlights

    • Adding Trillions to the national debt with tax breaks to his rich buddies
    • Set up concentration camps for kids
    • Praised Nazi's and a built a strong culture of racism within the white house (you have to lead by example)
    • Has the lowest rating and disapproval ratings of any president EVER (since they started measuring it)
    • Has more indictments and criminal investigations against his organization and team that any president ever.
    • Weakened US power globally as other countries seek more reliable partners.
I could go on and on joke of a president

He's done an outstanding job thus far without doubt. Hopefully the economic recovery lasts.

"outstanding", in what way do you quantify that and what of Trump's actions contributed to said 'recovery'?

The recovery has been going on since 2010. That's a long time and it won't last.

It's also important during a "recovery" to reduce the budget deficit to prepare for increased borrowing during a future recession. President Trump promised during his campaign he would eliminate the US national debt by 2024. Given your knowledge on the "outstanding job" he's doing, can you update us on how that campaign promise is being implemented?

Wrt "massive deregulation", what are the regulations that have had a positive effect by Trump getting rid of them?

That's a genuine question because my understanding was a lot of the 08 economic crash was due to much dangerous speculation cause of lax regulations. So if we're going to call massive deregulation a Trumpian achievement then surely the details matter here

I've said before and I'll say it again: it took Ireland 10 years to recover from its own economic collapse in 2008, and love 'em or loath em, it was the combination of two governments worth of policies that got us here.

Yet if some were to be believed, Trump saved the economy in a mere 2 years of "governance". That's fantastical talk and more than a little bit of Confirmation Bias at that. The economy was in an upward curve prior to his inauguration - you don't praise politicans for cutting the ribbon on the work the former guy started. Or for destroying the regulation introduced to STOP ANOTHER CRASH.

Except Trump apparently, because the decades he spent cultivating a myth of business wizardry is transferring to political sports-fan worship. Anyone who failed to make money from a casino should NOT be met with adoration for inheriting someone else's work. Then again his wealth is inherited real estate so *shrug*
