Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Navan Road Parkway to Croke Park

I am travelling to Croke Park on Sunday and am thinking it might be handier to leave the car at Navan Road Parkway and get the train into Drumcondra/Connolly rather than driving in and having the hassle of the traffic after the match, good idea or should I just drive into Croke Park and look for street parking?

    Thanks,

Do well to get parking around Croker on matchdays unless you're early.

That's what I thought. The main match isn't until 4 and I don't fancy arriving at 12/1 just to get parking as I would Imagine there will be a huge crowd from Wexford travelling and everyone will want top be up early to get parking.

I see that there are car parks close (Clonliffe College)by but there seems to be a delay always getting out onto the main roads home.
I think I'll get the train in, save the hassle.

If you're getting the train, you can also try Clonsilla (free parking on weekends). On match days, it fills up but never completely so. I'm not sure how big/small Navan Road parkway carpark is so that could fill up.

My brother uses Clonliffe College car park across the road from Croker when going to matches which is as close as you'll get. (it's only a tenner - see link below) Forget on street parking. I used to live near Hanlon's corner - 30 minutes walk away -and cars would be parked all the way up there on match days.
