Funny one. Looking for a new tv. It’s for a room that has built in press. Thought I had it sorted with UE43RU7400UXXU, but the stand isnt suitable ie the tv is too far back in press for side viewing. Is there anybody now making 43’’ TVs with swivel stands or alternatively where the legs of stand are mostly at rear of tv.

Must have freeview as I live in border area and freeview seems to be picked up by Saorview and channels reordered.

    Hey Joeysoap.

    Thanks for the post.

Unfortunately there are no televisions I can think of with a swivel stand.

Most now either have the legs at either end of the screen or the central stand.

Would adding something like the Sanus VTVS1 stand help?

I checked down our list of televisions and the 43RU7400 has probably one of the least front protruding stands.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Thanks for quick reply.
I know that the Samsung I was looking at has freesat, I have never actually seen it, assume it has freeview and therefore Saorview compatible.

The tv I have is about 5 years old , smart Samsung, swivel stand.

    Hi Joeysoap.

Yes the 43RU7400 is Saorview compatible and also has a Satellite tuner and will pick up the free to air satellite stations.

I almost forgot that the LG 43UK6400 is Freesat approved coming in at £319 but again the stand may not suit
