    Acquired taste.
    If not Guiness why Heineken.?

They're really the only things I found I liked. It's an odd A or B, I'll grant you. But, I've tried an awful lot of stuff over the years and they're what does it for me.

I guess I'm just not a good alcoholic.

Would there be many bars with those numbers all year round, six to seven days a week?

Yes, city bars especially and they are the ones charging outrageous prices for drinks.

If I was getting a pint for that price in Dublin I'd be giving the barman a hand job.

    Pantibar, Capel Street ,

    before 8pm, even less than€4.50, €4.30 or .40

    Or murphys,
Of the commercially available nitro stouts its the nicest, for me anyway.

Agreed. Love a good pint of Jj Murphy’s finest.

I genuinely haven't had a pint in a pub in over a year, and last year was only on the way to a rugby match. Prices are madness, a bottle of wine at home or over with friends.

Got stung for 6.80 for a pint of perroni in toners in Dublin last year.

Was in Witherspoons over the weekend. Pint of brew dog ipa was 3.95. same pint in Dublin city, 6.80!!

No 23 bar at The Merrion is 6.50 and easier to get a seat than Toner’s!

    Shipyard pale ale €2.50

    Staropramen €2.95

That is their blanchardstown place as from Zomato.
City centre prices will undoubtedly vary.

Jaysus, it’s not that long ago that Staropramen was premium priced.

The city centre spoons is basically going to have a 50c premium over the suburb ones, still 5.75 for a double jameson and mixer is hard (impossible) to beat

None.. which is why the problem exists. the 7.45 mugging in the temple bar pub was horrible but i was going out with someone who had tourist friends. Truthfully alcohol is a rip off everywhere but sure life without alcohol wouldn't be worth living.

    It still is,

Paid 4euro40cent for an orange juice in Napper Tandy's and something similar in Fitzsimons Temple Bar. Scummy prices. I avoid buying anything in a bar when I'm out now and hydrate before I go out.
