Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When is yours arriving? Most unusual for you to be driving a 12 month old car

Might not see any today - I'm told Revenue is down nationwide.

Not sure if anyone managed to sneak some through before it collapsed, or whether it's going to come back up at some point today, but it's going to put a fly in the ointment for a lot of stuff that was planned to go this morning.

Back up now, so panic over

Panic over people chasing number plates.
Their 191 car still works fine i'm sure.

On another note. 192 Kia Optima in Finglas today pulling into the estate. Obviously on their drive home as they were pretty careful driving in front of me.

I am more interested in numbers of 192 cars. 191 was a bit **** time as a lot of manufacturers only bringing out new stuff around now. If they were holding out for it, then 192 numbers could be higher then 182 last year.

I would imagine if there is any year that the xx2 numbers would be down, it would be this one, what with the new decade numbering being around the corner.

CAB Motors have a 192 Fiesta ST up on their page as their first registration. Lovely looking thing which they have described as an ST Line, i think the person from morketing might be in trouble;)

Was behind a new 192 Mazda SUV thing tonight. Yer man was rallying it pretty hard on the motorway.

Wouldn't have thought that was a great idea for a 2 day old car.

I suppose some people don't read owners manuals and some salespeople dont care to offer advise to new owners.

Seems very slow to get off the mark, compared to 172 and 182. Think we've sent out 60 ish cars since Monday. I wonder is the significant reg change to 201 being around the corner holding some people back?

I still think this 1x1/1x2 stuff is idiotic. Plus I remain unconvinced that we have the potential buyers or financing to sustain it in the long term. Cost of living in this country (especially if you're renting or have young kids) has increased significantly in the last few years.

Plus, there are still A LOT of 8+ year old cars on the road these days and the overall improvement in quality/features of cars has slowed generation on generation. Like phones they're generally incremental or novelty features now.

On top of that, I'd say a lot are waiting to see if the Government are serious about these plans to try killing off the Diesel market over the next few years before they tie themselves to a new one.

Talking to a local Ford salesman today saying it's the quietest '2' yet. The 201 must be bearing heavy on people's minds.

Transporter full of 192 Audi's at Sheehy motors yesterday. Think one was d3832 or 3382. Mid 3,000's anyway.

With the WLTP to come in I’m surprised more aren’t buying now I know in my own case road tax for a car pre Jan is 280 from Jan it’s 580 which means big price increases for some cars with VRT jumping.

192 BMW 840d heading south on N7 this morning, greyish colour.

Not sure about the styling to be honest. Rear was a bit non descript and the grill from the front looked huge on it. Side view seemed the best angle. Might have been the colour that didn't do it any favors.

192 MN 5 passed me this morning, was a Leaf in a lovely looking burgundy colour. Wasn't going slow enough to be able to hear if it had the audible warning sounds. I believe they sound like UFO's ???
