Accommodation ban from posting

I seem to have been barred from posting in Accommodation by a mod named Graham for simply starting a Truth - that a lot of the homeless industry is made of chancers.

This is not “confrontational” or “disruptive” as he put it - it is a stone cold fact. I understand people like him wish to downplay the “homeless” as people who are deserving of nothing but sympathy but the truth is the truth. The dogs on the street know that not all homeless are genuine but Graham doesn’t want to acknowledge this in his little white knight bubble

I only see an infraction on your profile, I do not see a ban. Can you point me to the post with the ban information?

Nothing received but an infraction notification, post option on the thread is now greyed out for me. I was infracted for being “uncivil” - there is nothing at all in that post that could be regarded as uncivil. It’s an ugly truth and one which this mod does not want to accept.

The thread is closed, that is why you cannot post in it. You are not forum banned.

Do you wish to appeal the infraction (red card) that you received?

Yes I do because it was completely unwarranted- I didn’t attack any poster or say anything offensive except to those who are workshy with their hands out (and personally I don’t think their feelings have any need to be respected).

The first step in appealing any card or ban is to attempt to resolve it amicably with the mod.

Can you confirm if you have attempted to engage via PM with the mod, and if so, what was the outcome?

Yes I have contacted the mod - he said I was uncivil in my post and that the thread is closed for posting. I have not gotten anywhere with him in regards to removing the infraction.

Thanks for confirming. I will ask a CMod to review next.

Please post your PM conversation with the mod here, or have it ready to share with the CMod.

Thank you. The conversation was brief but I will post if it required - I have no ill will against the mod or any vendetta against him so will only post the PMs if needed to resolve this.

The PMs are a required part of this process. Please post here, or alternatively share with the CMod when they pick up the appeal.

Hi The Specialist, I’ll look into this for you. As Dudara mentioned, please either post here or forward on to me the relevant PM exchanges between you and the mods.
