Recent free speech Rally one of the Antifa louts! But you already know this!

It's not particularly easy to spot a random person as a paedophile... Eg I've been at them, I think out of the crowd, I knew about six of the people present out of hundreds. So once again not exactly a smoking gun.

They're moving into even weird territory now as they promote the legitimacy of phrenology(last credible during times of Sherlock Holmes novels) and legitimising eugenics.. They seem to be outright Nazi wannabes.... Awaiting the usual suspects agreeing with this now.

Edit: Never mind a parody account of them... :P

They’re cringeworthy idiots, but I think they’ve been hacked - there’s a series of unlikely tweets from their account.

I bet you'd have a fair few posters that would agree with eugenics though. ;)

The Burkean did publish an article about eugenics called Not all are born equal, it was removed though after even their backers were disgusted by it.

True - but this, and other posts today seem like a hacked account:

So Ms Byrne. Vice President of the USI received complaints from conservative students at her college, then decides to hand over their names to an entity willing to commit assault on said students.

Ms Byrne should be frogmarched from her position first thing Monday morning along with that "good head" running to be her successor, she hung out to dry.

Delighted to see she got a taste of her own medicine.

    Doubt they are fake.

    Backtracking now.
    Imagine my shock.

    Don't even pretend.

    Your founder is a paedo
    https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/courts/former-civil-servant-caught-with-7000-child-porn-images-avoids-jail-29755182.html

A convicted paedo with thousands of child porn images and clearly friends in the paedo judiciary that always seem to take a very lenient course when it comes to sentencing.
You Antifa crowd managed to bury your head harder then the Catholic Church though until it became suffiently embarrasing.

No mention of him founding or "leading" antifa in that article. When Googled the only people saying it are Gemma O'Doherty and her loons.
    Looks like you've been fooled.

Not the first time I'd say.

Indymedia released a statement about him being a former moderator , there are google cached tweets deleted about him starting AFA Ireland long before the paedo court case reared its head, there is forum posts from reddit, politicalirish etc.. even after hours here which pre date the court case.

Pat Paedo Corcoran was at minimum a gery active member in a group you use this thread as a rolling love letter to.

Seems like there’s a bit of back-pedalling going on. Leader or active member? My understanding of anti-fascist groups is that they’re non-hierarchical and secretive - so I’d say it’s all pretty much uninformed speculation.

“At minimum” is not backpedling , why would people speculate and pick him prior to the court case ? Did everyone settle on a random person ?

Wild speculation (since it seems to be the thing to do) - he’s a man associated with revolutionary leftist politics (and animal rights activism) - so he’s a handy whipping boy for whatever bogeyman organisation you care to ascribe him to, once he was prosecuted. Not exactly an original notion - but seems to fit, given nobody here has a baldy notion how the Antifa people organise themselves.

I'm sure you can forward on the cached tweet. The Irish Politics post was based on an article that a website removed because it was the claims of some randomer.

You can provide the sources so.

heres an indymedia article where 'pat c' not only tagged as a representative of AFA Ireland , In the article he wrote he discusses uploading it to their website indicating high level involvement

indymedia released a statement about him being a moderator, and even instead of removing some articles he has done, have 're authored' them as ANTIFA.....

He was a mod on Indymedia - so quite why his saying that the article wasn’t on the AFA website yet implies he had ‘high level involvement’ escapes me. If his involvement was so ‘high’, why hadn’t he uploaded it yet? Who’s to say that anyone in AFA could or couldn’t upload stuff? Who’s to say he wasn’t waiting for someone else to sign off on it? Again - it’s all uninformed speculation.

Must suck your one of your Antifa leaders is a peado!

Everyone knows Corcoran was a high level organiser for AFA Ireland, the strange thing is, he was rightfully disowned back when he was caught with the child porn but the new generation of AFA seem to engage in obfuscation and denial rather than simply disowning the guy which most people would accept.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,939 ✭✭✭20Cent

Right wingers assume people need a leader or be paid to do something. They can't seem to fathom that people get up of their own asses and make a stand every now and then.
Some conspiracy theory is needed. The biggest believers in antifa are these right wing knobs who think it's some shadowy organisation with tentacles in the media and politics. There's some fascists marching go confront them is the reality. George Soros, a leader or anything like that not necessary.

    One more time for luck.

Antifa is a non-hierarchical deal - there aren’t leaders, there’s not even any hard and fast membership.
I’m not involved with them. Just know a couple of people who might be (I never asked).

I’m betting you’ve never had a conversation about the man with any AFA associate.

Look at some of the weird looking cretins with AFA Ireland, I'd be very surprised if he was the only paedo in their ranks.

Yeaaah, because the mark of a paedophile is their ‘weird look’. 🙄
