One group of approaching Pegida supporters was chased back down Talbot Street by a splinter group, some wearing masks and chanting, "Fascist scum, off our streets."

A security guard at a shop on Talbot Street described how a group of 15-20 men chased a man into the shop and began beating him.

There were particularly violent clashes between over 100 protestors and police as they gathered outside a pub, in which pro-Pegida protestors. were believed to be gathered.

They really shon a positive light on themselves that day.... damn fascist gardai....
15-20 men beating the sh*t out of a guy in a shop , what a weakling that guy was..

you seem upset that a fascist got a beating. why is that? do you think the pootestors should have asked them nicely to go home?

And around in circles we go. Some of us like law and order, and don't what to leave it to authoritarians like you to decide who deserves to get beaten up and who doesn't.

or they in general just don't exist.....

aside from gemmas ilk who did have a run of protests, theres no 'fascists'

Gemma and her friends are currently saying that the virus is a big hoax and no one is dying from it. Filming inside hospitals as well not very smart.

you like law and order but have no issue with facscists marching in our streets. Does not compute.

If they are marching legally it does. If they are not, the Gardai will stop them. Not some rag tag bunch of authoritarians who are just as fascist as the fascists they claim to oppose.

    Stopping fascists is fascist.
Just trying to think how far one has to bend their mind to be able to even think that.

    Pretty far.

no man should be set upon and beaten by 15-20 other men for anything. Theres no justification for it.

Yes, theres an entire thread as to why her and her ilk are bad, to me your post reads as if I'm defending them, for clarity I am not, she is a very mentally ill woman who has brought a merry band of idiots along in her quest to be irelands foremost 'shock jock'

Thinking that you have the right to beat someone up based on YOUR interpretation of their beliefs is unacceptable.

Antifa and people like you have a very vague and malleable definition of fascist and an even stranger understanding of how laws should be applied.

There's been a handful of scuffles you'd swear they were going around attacking random people.

Does 20 cent argue for the legalisation of violence? Thinking that someone deserves a beating doesn't equate to any kind of understanding of how laws should be applied. I also think a gang beatdown is out of order in nearly any circumstance, although I wouldn't shed a tear if a mass murderer or pedophile got a hammering off a bunch of people for example.

By "people like you" here I assume you mean the majority of posters on boards. Plenty of right wing posters on here seem to think it means "wearing black and hitting people".

Accusing Antifa of having a very vague and melleable definition? Didn't you define Antifa as fascists in the past?

I don't think you read his post quite correctly. He is saying your definition of fascist is very malleable, not his.

I don't think there is a far right problem and certainly not a antifa "problem in Ireland. Just some losers who were shown at the ballot box how unpopular they are. To try and seem relevant they have made up an "enemy". Look at that pathetic Burkean attempt at an "expose". They need to feel like victims when the truth is they are deeply unpopular and their views disgust most people.

Hahaha, I can see the man/lady themselves have responded to you but please can I know the relevance of "childless" here for my own curiosity.

Not mine actually but another posters.

But my point is simple, you can't give out about Antifa misusing the term and call Antifa fascist.

I think the term is way over used and lowers discourse to name calling.

Maybe childless is an insult if they think someone isn't producing enough babies to battle "the great replacement".

Sound exactly like socialist youth movements.
Western wannabe socialists and communists are pathetic. They somehow think they can keep all perks of capitalism under some socialist regime. The one which rule primarily by suppressing individual and freedom.
People who never experienced joys of socialism yet they dream about it are delusional and a dangerous threat to society.

Deffo not socialist so don't know where that came from.

By uniforms I assume u mean the perrys. The answer is yes for the most part. Although as you can see from the pic attached most clubs get similar customised specific to their chapter.

So prior to the cv19 crisis, we would try meet once a month. Have a few beers and a good night out. It is primarily a men's drinking club. Most members exhibit a non PC right leaning ethos but I'm Nick named captain SJW because I lean a little left.

We would try to a cultural part for every meet particularly if there is an international member attending.

Late teens in terms of members with a vetting backlog because of CV19

I've always said it's basically a men's shed where you can speak your mind without social repercussions.

We have a number of LGBT+ and non nationals.

    I somewhat agree.

If I have ever called antifa fascists, it would have been to highlight that their methods and ideology are more in line with typical fascist behaviour, moreso than the people they are fighting against. (I.e. declaring people to be the enemy and thus deserving of violent acts against them based on their own definition of what constitutes "good")

If a group is calling themselves anti fascist, the onus should be on them to define in clear terms what they deem to be fascist.

But you are right, the word is so overplayed by these idiots that antifa here and in most western societies are now boxing with shadows yet claim the reason there is no fascists roaming the streets is because of them, not because there is no fascist problem and it's generally not tolerated in society.

Like that episode of the Simpsons when Lisa gas the anti bear rock.
