Not at all. In US discourse for example, words like communism and socialism are dirty words and are hopelessly (and deliberately) misused all the time.

Maybe for older people there is still some imprint of a time when communism meant purges and missiles pointing from Cuba, but now it's just a label to throw at something you don't like, knowing that in America, communism is A Bad Thing.

Taking real terms, with real meanings, and simply using them as a scare tactic when not warranted, is practiced by all sides.

When quoting a previous post which contains media (e.g. video or picture), can you please snip out the media?

Quoting media in replies has several impacts. One, it puts strain on the poor hamsters and two, it’s tedious seeing the same image several times.

I’ll pop a reminder into the charter to this effect.

I'm happy for anyone to get a hiding that shows up somewhere and starts violence. I dont care who they are. All I've seen on this thread are videos of anyifa attacking people and beating them with clubs. So i was happy to see a few videos of them getting beat up.

Feel free to put up some videos of the far right starting trouble and getting beaten up, I'll enjoy those too.
