Ted bundy was a republican. Would be silly to claim that's why he killed people. Same with the Dayton shooter.

All I've been doing is pointing out that this lad didn't fit the far-right, white nationalist mass shooting pattern that the likes of Klaaz, snowblind and to a certain extent you believed it did. In order to do that I've had to show that he is not only left wing, but a democrat. Because Left wingers, and Democrats, tend not to be Far-right.

    Well that's a silly post.

The American proud boys (not aware of any over this way) accept people of all nationalities and religions. The guy who founded it is married to a native American and has non white children. You seem to be talking out of your bottom.

...as long as everyone agrees to be compliant.

    That's a little fascist.

In 2003, McInnes said, "I love being white and I think it's something to be very proud of. I don't want our culture diluted. We need to close the borders now and let everyone assimilate to a Western, white, English-speaking way of life."[74]

In a speech given at New York University in February 2017, after a clash between his Proud Boys and Antifa anti-fascist protestors, McInnes said: "Violence doesn't feel good, justified violence feels great, and fighting solves everything. ... I want violence. I want punching in the face." McInnes denies that he is inciting violence, although he did say that "[T]he Proud Boys do enjoy a good brawl."[66]

Definitely fascist given his agenda is to assimilate his wife and children into the “western, white” way of life.

It was the perfect comment to the bizarre post you made. Sometimes brevity is the key to successful communication

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

There are black pride marches and events.

I think that not wanting your culture to be diluted is acceptable. Should Moroccans be expected to allow strip clubs, pork sausages and bars? Or should people who go to those countries respect the culture?

Violence doesn't feel good. Justified violence feels great. I think that could be applied to Antifas Modus operandi.

McInnes is a known comedian though so a lot of quotes can be taken with a pinch of salt, unless you also believe that Frankie Boyle genuinely thought Jade Goodys cervical cancer was a benefit for her husband.

I chose to believe it was a very distasteful joke.

I'm not sure you understand what fascist means.

How is the western way white? How can you assimilate a non white into being white?

    That's silly.

What does western values mean to you then? The fascist.
In the US it tends to mean Judeo-Christian, European whites.

Your username makes me hesitant to "thank" your post.

The stark reality is that you should fear being branded a fascist because you think that it's ok to be proud to be white insofar as it's ok to be proud of being black.

Can anyone explain to me why being a proud white, western man is unacceptable?

The main values for me would be freedom of expression, meritocracy, individualism and capitalism; all things that people like you are trying to destroy.

Anyone who thinks one 'way of life' is preferable to another, when that way of life relates to colour, is a racist IMO.

The Proud Boys is a men only club. They believe in the supremacy of “western society”, which is really dog whistle for white dominated society.

But I genuinely wonder if they aren’t live action trolls. They make all their members take an anti masturbation pledge. It’s a belief so ridiculous I’m not sure it’s real.

Anyway, the founder of the Proud Boys is an anti Semitic, anti islam, homophobic nut job or a real life troll. Whichever he is, the Proud Boys are a horrid bunch.

If you say so. Being Jewish either in origin or in self proclaimed “faith” doesn’t mean you aren’t a white supremacist in fact.

You seemed to support this earlier and went on to cite black pride marches.

They've gay pride too. These aren't groups asserting authority or hating whites and straights. These are movements born out of fighting back for recognition, respect and fair play.

It isn’t. It’s an odd thing to be proud of, but then people are proud of a lot of things.

Being proud to be any race or nationality is a bit odd IMO, it’s not something you achieved through hard work. I’m extremely proud of my own achievements, not really of other people’s.

Surely that’s what the US is expecting of its immigrants. That they become part of a western, English speaking way of life. Only the “white” bit is problematic. In fact the US is a country based on western, in reality English/British based laws and cultures, modified over time.

Meanwhile despite its ethnic and racial diversity south America is also in its laws and culture largely a modified form of Spanish culture.

That is interesting. Can you pinpoint which he is? I find him to be funny.

    In your opinion,

does making gay jokes make you homophobic?

Does making Madeleine McCann jokes make you pro child abduction?

Does making Nazi jokes make you a Nazi?

Does saying something unpalatable make you a monster?

Does someone's speech need to tie into their beliefs or does context matter?

Will you disown someone who has what you view to be "problematic" opinions?

Am I fascist if I believe that it's ok to be proud of my heritage?

I know that. However the schools are English speaking in most cases. Street information and signage is in English only. In most cases.

The courts are presided in English, although I’m sure there are translators provided.

You can't really come out as a nazi these days because people are rightly disgusted by it. Instead they use dog whistles and skirt around their beliefs. If you posted anti semetic memes for example most platforms would ban you. Instead they use coded language and images which gives them plausible deniability. Some people seem to join in with this because it used to really irritate liberals so playing with this imagery was fun for some but it's still amplifying these views no matter the intention of the person posting it.
Race realism, western values, pride in European heritage etc , these are all ways to get around the terms and conditions these platforms have against racism and hate speech. The intention is to normalise these things, far right marches and rallies would no longer be controversial, hate becomes acceptable. Thats the aim.
Those who can't see this are at best useful idiots or collaborators.

Re: the jokes. That’s all about context.

You’re not fascist for being proud of your heritage. You’re a bigot if you believe that your heritage is inherently superior to Everyone else’s and believe they should conform to yours.

An interesting aside, do you consider yourself to be white first and then Irish or Irish first?

Surely an implicit agreement (and possibly an explicit agreement for citizenship tests) is accepting the supremacy of the country you are emigrating to.
