The Eu will of course want a deal that will be good for the 26 Counties . It would never sacrifice the 26 Counties to prove the Eu is dressed in the Finest Garb .:eek:

hang on - you're saying its up to the EU - who wont give a deal - then saying of course they are going to give a deal.

i think you have the same problem the British have - not seeing reality

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

So in an effort to 'win' the debate here we have two posters continually doing the juvenile taunting stuff.

    Excellent argument guys.

There is no winning the debate. We are just wasting time going back and forth about something we have no control or say in.

    This isn't question time.

Do you realise the ridiculousness of that statement?

But it wouldn't be to us, because of the removal of the backstop, that Boris requires.

And despite what you think, we are the EU.

You haven't a clue. Your link - which you obviously didn't bother reading - is indeed a well researched theoretical proposition. However, rather than claiming the EU will suffer an immediate 18% drop in GDP, it actually states verbatim:

The UK's national level of Brexit exposure is 12.2 per cent of UK GDP and 11.3 per cent of UK labour income. In contrast, the rest of EU in aggregate face an exposure to Brexit, which is only 2.64 per cent of their combined GDP and 2.62 per cent of their combined labour income. In other words, the Brexit trade‐related exposure of the UK economy is 4.6 times greater than that of the rest of the EU.

To reiterate. You haven't a clue.

It is very clear that for 3 years the rest of the EU are doing what we are telling them to do on the backstop.

We convinced them of that and our negotiators Verhofstadt and Barnier are acting as per the instructions.

The EU will not abandon that position unless WE get the assurances or practical alternatives required.

    Over to you Boris.

    You have nothing then.

Seems to me that the EU is doing what Leo tells them vis-a-vis the backstop.

Since there’s no mods I guess we can just post whatever we want? Maybe I should post a link to this thread on 8chan or somewhere like that?

For the third time, please back up your claim instead of just dodging the question.

Blueshoe has already demonstrated how under-informed he is. Had to be taken by the hand to sources.

Not sure how anyone can differentiate between a troll and a genuine brexiteer. Neither is interested in facts, in debate or in reason. Both are equally obnoxious, ignorant and infuriatingly intent on causing havoc to satisfy their own small minded agenda

I think we have outed the full comedic value from any Irexit campaign.

    Well played blinding.
