Europe doesnt win from Brexit but it doesnt lose anywhere close to the level Britain does in this exercise in epic stupidity. Britain also has no power over the rest of the continent once it leave. Trying to mess with Ireland today will not end well we have connections you know. Europe wins because quite simply its numbers are bigger than Britains. Unfair but thats the crushing reality of things. Not only that but time waits for noone. The longer they're without a deal the more their buisnesses collapse and the worse people are left. Without being part of Europe they become irrelevant and obsolete.

In fact enough over there have realized this but their broken political system simply hasn't acted to end this farce. Thats the problem when their system is based not on compromise but animosity and the need to somehow win. Unless the opposition moves to end this by the end of this month well all be breaking out the cola and popcorn as Britain engages in the biggest "It's Happening" event of epic stupidity in modern times.

Sterling was 70p to the €1 before the referendum.

It's 90p to the €1 atm and anytime there's serious risk of a no deal it's gotten close to parity. It's one of the many things warned about over this and theres plenty more news and statistics but of course your not interested in anything that doesnt conform to your warped reality are you?

Tom Swarbrick on LBC just now, former Cameron/May advisor and remainer says the extension plays massively into boris hands. This, the Merkel call today, the extension, it is all just gonna add to the demonisation of the remainer MPs and towards his election triumph.

Border wasnt weaponised by the EU, the whole "leave" campaign about taking back control etc was done because NI isnt a consideration to them, the border is the ONLY land border the UK has and the territory inside was essentially contested territory and essentially a civil war for nearly 30 years till the GFA.
