He's not even half way through his presidency, plenty of time to fulfill his promise. He has already secured billions in funding and has expanded the wall 100's of miles.

They are illegal and should be kicked out. Its in the name. He is managing about quarter of a million deportations a year which is slightly less than Barack Hussein Obama managed on average. Bear in mind, there are probably less of them there to kick out thanks to Trump. In other words, his numbers for deportations being lower is actually a sign that he is doing better.

He never said he was going to ban Muslims.

He put a temporary ban on visitors from certain countries, some of which happened to be majority Muslim. These countries were flagged as a threat by Barack Hussein Obama's administration. Trump was fulfilling his mandate to protect his people.

Of course he has. He is probably the most influential person in the world in the most powerful position in the world. His policies have reinvigorated one of the worlds largest economies causing a knock on effect throughout the world.

Leo is not a leader, I have no respect for him.

No new extensions to the wall have been built.

    Mexico havent paid for it.

thats a bit disingenuous , over 60 miles of old border have been replaced , this was always going to be done before new parts of the wall was built. Funding is secure for between 400-500 miles of wall and thats in progress, so 1/4 of the total border is locked in for construction.

    Now back to brexit....

I was responding to somebody who said 100s of miles of extensions have been built, which is not true.

How much money have Mexico contributed towards building extension?

How much new wall will be built at the end of Trumps 4 years?

But in the west of Ireland who really f**kin cares?

People who are interested in the world and its betterment. People who care about more than themselves and their immediate environment.

This is a globalised world we live in. What happens in the US has a knock on effect on Europe and Ireland.

Well all for building a wall. Stop all them sweaty Dubs dropping their litter out of their cars around here.

So if the US has a knock on effect in Ireland when do we have an Irish Trump and who is he? I might just vote for him.

Probably because we dont beleive the narritive spun by the SJW media, we inform ourselves from independent, unbiased sources... And I say that as no big fan of Trump. I dont dislike him though, he is a great president. His lack of movement on the Assange issue turned me against him

Unbiased sources being ones that general agree with all your views? Thats not unbiased.

BTW, look no further than his own twitter account to get a view of what a ****tard he is. No one is twisting his words, its direct from the horses mouth. He's like some ramped up version of a cartoon parody of him that would have been put out in the years before he was elected.

A president for the people in idiocracy. Hes not a good president. the **** he does and says , any other one would be hammered for. Hes good at appealing to peoples inner idiot /racist or a few other things. "he says what we're thinking" - thats because youre a racist cletus. But yeah, just blame "the liberals" for being against him. Mostly cos he tells you too.

Johnson and his fake bumbling idiot persona is as bad and more idiots lap it up. Hes like a little mechanical dog yapping and doing flips while gob****es stand there clapping and shouting. He's all "um , er, yeah, " and not answering any question while people think hes great. A literal manifestation of the elite all the average people claim to hate but are somehow convinced is one of them but they are so caught up in the bull**** spin they'd buy dog**** sold as steak.

Ok we get it. Anybody that doesnt agree with you is an idiot racist mechanical dog etc.

I believe that people should be free to think and believe whatever they want. I dont think people should be attacked for thinking different than me even if they are wrong:)

That's the difference. But then those who do attack others for their beliefs and thoughts are the racists and bigots.

    Which one are you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 803 ✭✭✭woohoo!!!

I watched the BBC clip. The full context changes nothing. Barnier is using Ireland as a pawn. He refers to our country in such a disrespectful manner. He is a disgrace. Himself and his ilk do not care about Ireland, they should have no power over us.

I cited that clip because it shows Barnier is not such a saint as some people in here like to think and my point still stands.
Of course he's not a saint. He's an experienced negotiator employed by and whose loyalty lies with the EU. He is doing his job. It would help if the UK could spell out what they want, beyond unicorns. And bottom line, he recommends, does not decide. That's the PMs of the countries. Who have singularly failed to throw Ireland under the bus.

They couldn't do it before and they wont do it in the future and before they murdered and tortured the ones who rejected them but they still couldn't break the people permanently.

No, not anyone, just the ones that say stupid or racist things.

If the very same tweets he sent out came from Barack Obamas' account, the same people with their tongues up trumps hole would pile on to him. Its crass stupidity from a

I actually thought the idea of him as president was funny in the run up, but **** me that wore off quickly. There isnt an ounce of anything statesmanlike about him.

Hes empowering racists, whether you want to see it or not.
If a black power group caused mayem at rallies and Obama had apportioned any blame to the people they attacked or said anything along the lines of there being good people on both sides , hed be rightly attacked over it.

People are free to say and think what they like and consequently I'm free to point out what idiots they are.

Hold on there. As I said I dont follow this but.

Wan't Obama responsible for forced repatriations of illegals?

Isnt the Left Antifa going around attacking and killing people?

Regards Statemanship......Most world leaders could fail that test including out own President.

I agree, and brexit is part of that resistance. I notice Leo is even telling people to go meat free while running a agri economy. This who Vegan, Environmental Scientology is just a new way to keep the masses in their box. They are creating a world where kids are scared for life and scared the world is gonna end along with telling us to not have kids to save the planet. History will judge the brainwashing pushed out by the EU very badly.

    Very noble.
Hate to be the annoying guy banging on about old posts, but I'm somewhat interested in what you know about the source of the doctored Michel Barnier video you posted several pages back?
Your judgement of its "independence" & "lack of bias" relative to the <shudder>...BBC?

It's almost like politics isnt a simple black and white issue where you just decide that one day the whole country should about face and change something fundamental overnight.................

Anyway, he said cut down did he not? Not like you to misrepresent things that are said.

Has the EU ever had a positive affect on Ireland in your opinion?

The single market is great if you are in it but restrictive as well. For instance you cant go and source goods cheaper if you are in it.
This illustrates your complete lack of understanding of how the Single Market works.
I believe that people should be free to think and believe whatever they want. I dont think people should be attacked for thinking different than me even if they are wrong

But you want to be free to think and believe something even if it is totally wrong and anyone who points out your mistakes is "attacking you for thinking differently"?

No I dont and nobody has convinced me I am wrong. All I see is lots of anti comments.

Who has attacked me? I havent said that.

Of course the EU has, but you don't have to be such a cuck around them. Make hay while the sunshine and be mindful that it will run it's course and by then make sure that you don't have isolated our closest neighbour and natural ally to show we were the class swot when the ship was sinking.

FG out and FF in, rebuild.

Sure, Comrade, Single Market is ace, nothing else comes close, ever...ask all the med countries how the four pillars is working out for them

It isn't...and the UK knows that. The real trade is outside the EU now...own it.

    OK; one step at a time;

There are no restrictions on members of the Single Market on where they buy. If you want evidence, 50% of what the UK buys comes from outside the Single Market. Do you accept that you were completely wrong on this?
