I am thinking about replacing the existing AVR and adding a pair of Dolby Atmos / Front Height speakers.
I currently have the following package that I got from you:
    - AVR-X2300W
    - Monitor Audio Bronze 5 x 2 (Walnut)
    - Monitor Audio Bronze Center (Walnut)

I was considering the below items:
    - AVRX3500H, I believe this is the EOL stock as this one will be replaced in the coming weeks with the 2019 line model
    - Marantz NR1710, currently available on the UK site only, slim design but more expensive and less powerful

I read your previous recommendations for the Front Atmos speakers and ELAC Debut were mentioned a few times. I would like to know your thoughts on the Dali Alteco C-1. I am not sure if the up firing speakers will work nicely with the room acoustics and Dali seem to be more flexible in terms of mounting (front height).

What would you recommend? Any boardie deals for a loyal customer? :)
And delivery to Cork of course...

    Thanks.
    Hi 3Ka.

Thanks for coming back to us.

Good to hear the original system is still going strong.

The 3500 would be an excellent upgrade its currently priced at £499. There is still plenty of stock left on these. ( I could squeeze one of these down to £485 if interested).

At the moment the NR1710 is a special order product so I have no had one into stock to play around with but I dare say it's fantastic going on previous versions. It retails at £649. I currently don't have the cost of these so not sure what deal I could offer on one but I would say as it's a special order we would not have them same buying power/discount on one unit.

You could also perhaps look at the Yamaha RXA680 which is priced at £489.00
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-203497-yamaha-rxa680-black-atmos-av-receiver.aspx

The Elac Debut A4 do a really good job in an Atmos setup and are great value for money.

The Alteco C1 have also been pretty popular for Atmos and they also look the part.
The retail at £259 but I could a deal of you at £220.00
Are the BT77 mentioned above for the Alteco's? If it was me I would mount the speaker directly onto the wall if possible and have them facing downwards rather than turning them around for upward firing. It will also look much neater than the large BT77 bracket sticking out.

    Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for your input Kenny, I was going to install the Dali speakers using the stands but I might mount the speaker directly if that's an option. I would be interested in the 3500H and the Alteco's (walnut). Happy to accept the offer: £485 + £220 sounds great! Please let me know how to proceed...
