Lisbon airport - bike boxes available?

    Hi all

    Very random question but someone may know.

    Are bike boxes available at Lisbon airport, which can be used to box up a bike when returning home after a cycle round the Algarve?

    Some airports i believe have them

    Usually in Spain or Portugal if the airport you are flying from has Iberia flights then I have found Iberia will have bike boxes which they will sell (20 euro in Alicante for example). You don't have to fly Iberia. I would suggest contact Iberia in Lisbon, not the airport. They generally have an English speaking help desk..

    if possible get to the airport well in advance of your flight and check it out. Also check the nearest Decathlon. They will give you a box..
