Help: The hunt for a kouign amman in Dublin

    My favourite pastry in the world is a kouign amman but I can't find one anywhere in Dublin. I've been let down by le petit parisien, chez max and lauduree so far. I work in Dublin 2 but am willing to travel if anyone has any further suggestions. I don't know how much longer I can cope without them.

    I don't see an address for la boulangerie francais. Does it have a walk in shop?

    And scèal is a good shout I haven't seen kouign ammans at their stalls before but considering they advertise it I might be blessed some time. Sad they don't have a permanent shop but I might be following them around to markets like a groupie if they are currently doing them :P

    Ooh I found an address on their contact page. Thanks for that suggestion. Judging by the selections on their site I think I'll have to make the pilgrimage soon, kouign ammans or not
