Just played it. I thought it was pretty good. I enjoyed the little boss fight.

    Few new courses uploaded.

Desert Rush can be done in 20seconds with well timed jumps, but is an easy level even if you don't speedrun it. 463-cvh-3yg

P switch headwreck. A simple puzzle where the goal is to hit the 5 p switches. 9wq-bf9-qdf

Finally a more difficult level .. requires wall jumps in 1 part but nothing crazy. X0d-8qn-jwg

Both of these were good. I though the P switch puzzle was clever.

Spent ages fine tuning this, so hopefully its a good level, levels can be such a time sink when you get new ideas xD

Would love if someone gave it a go: QKG-SB4-YMF

I completed it but got a communication error so it did not register . I had many frustrations with the level but from a design stand point, it was good. After I got all the red coins and then dying from the Thwomp's consistently, I was like... a check point would be nice here. However, thinking about it no actually that would be very wrong as you'd need to go back for the red coins and get the key to unlock the door so good on ya for thinking ahead compared to me :o.

I just need to up my skills rather than your level being poorly designed.

    Overall, very good!

Hey thanks for the critique, you are right i messed up royally on the door and coin thing by the time i was ready to upload the level, the checkpoint and the red coins where a problem where you needed to collect them again and i didnt really want to erase that whole section so i had to place the flag after the coins and door, lesson learned! Also thanks for the feedback, it helps me get better at designing :)

This remake is quite different to the original and a bit more difficult. Had to reduce difficulty somewhat because difficulty was very high during the first version of it and it would take me all day to get the perfect precision.

Two notable changes with this remake is the clear condition and no check point as well as the Super Mario World style because the original was New Super Mario Bros U in Super Mario Maker.

Another day, another NSMB DS remake. This one had more limitations than the 1-4 remake such as the level size.

    Name: NSMB DS 1-2

I created a level called Passage Way inspired by this level in the original Mario Maker and I think I'll remake that.

Eh, Mario Maker 2 is only on Nintendo Switch whilst the original Mario Maker is on Wii U and 3DS. Please can we keep this thread limited to sharing levels or commenting on levels.

Another remake of one of my Super Mario Maker levels but with new areas and two bonus mini boss fights for one up mushrooms. I have upped the difficulty too somewhat on this one even though the original wasn't exactly the easiest one in the first place. I actually find it easier when I speedrun this rather than taking it slow. I should be making a 3D World level next but not sure yet. I know I've made a fair few NSMBU levels and that style is not exactly everybody's favourite but all of them have been remakes rather than brand new original ones.

    Name: Bowser's Twin
Style: New Super Mario Bros U
    Theme: Castle
    Course ID: 9BY-C1Q-PFG
    Tag(s): Standard, Themed
Description: Bowser's twin brother has decided to help Bowser destroy the Mario Kingdom!

Sorry to go off thread guys just picked up a switch and not sure whether to get super mario maker2 or super mario bros deluxe ? I’m leaning towards smm2 presuming it will have more replay ability with user created levels

Laters version of maker allows users to create entire worlds ( not just individual levels ). So, it's a great buy. You also get a simple story mode with some quirky levels in it. So, it's highly recommend. You must have a switch online sub to get access to user generated content.

Deluxe is your traditional single themed Mario game. If you've played any of the "new" variants on ds or Wii / u, then it's more of the same. It's the best of the "new" games. Still good if you want a traditional Mario fix. For some reason this is usually more expensive than maker.

    (edit)
SMM is probably sold cheaper than deluxe since you really need to online sub as well.
Also, with SMM, you get better value if you/yours actually want to create your own levels.
    So, as they say, YMMV.
