Hi All, I am being referred to a gynaecologist by my GP so trying to weigh up going private vs public. My health insurance doesn't cover it so wondering how much the appointment would cost? And if I did go private for consultation and needed surgery could I change to do the surgery public? And does anyone know roughly…

Best to ask the gynecologist you were referred to. A private appointment with a consultant can be anything from €100-€250. Most charge more for the first appointment as it generally takes longer.
