At every level the women get stalked by creeps of both genders. If some of the Irish women told their stories you would legit be shocked!

Why now.... why not months ago?

WWE were very high on him.... dont think he ever looked weak on TV in any of his multiple introduction pushes.

Wonder what went on behind the scenes each time they hit pause.

When he made his return last time I thought it was Snitsky. Was half expecting him to have a foot fetish.

his promo where he said he was 'bullied' was his last appearance on tv. It's up there as one of the most tone deaf things wwe have done in recent times.

And that's a fairly low bar to pass

    Lars brought it on himself.

    - his panic attack was never gonna do him any favours. WWE love to go on about trusting a guy to run with the football, be reliable and to handle the pressures of having a big spot in WWE. Not to mention wrestlers are like sharks waiting for a sniff of blood.

    - His sexist, racist and homophobic remarks he made on the bodybuilding forum years previous came to light.

    - A gay pornographic movie surfaced. Instantly making him a hypocrite after the above comments.

    - Sending inappropriate messages to an online Yoga teacher.

    - Accordingly he no-showed an event. Just heard about this.

How many chances can guy a get.

He has issues, clear mental health issues.

There is enough evidence to suggest his negative behaviour steems from his own battle with his own sexuality. The guy has issues. He needs help rather than thr hate he receives. Two wrongs dont make a right.

Lars gets fired and Riddle gets a bumper new contract despite an ongoing court case over sexual assault.

Velveteen Dream has loads of allegations against him and still has a job.

He was average in the ring at best and one of the worst talkers I've ever seen

That's before even mentioning the comments he made

    Good riddance

I can hear Vince now... "Look at him pal, he's a FREAK."

Seems to be admitting it's no-one's fault but his own...
Fightful reached out to Lars Sullivan, and actually heard back from him when the news dropped on Tuesday. He confirmed the release happened, and was surprised WWE didn't announce it themselves. He chalked it up to them being nice about them, and was very complimentary of how they handled his departure, saying they did it with "compassion and honesty."

Sullivan informed us that he told WWE he was done with wrestling after battling crippling anxiety issues to the point of struggling to eat during days of TV filming, and was having trouble sleeping. He also lost his father last year, which compounded a rollercoaster year for him. Sullivan called himself his own worst enemy, and owned up to multiple issues that prevented him from gaining traction in what he called his dream job.

Sullivan told us that he's likely done with wrestling, and again took responsibility for the issues that led to that, calling some actions "idiocy" and "his own selfish behavior."

We spoke with him about his WWE run and he was grateful for the experience. One person in WWE told us that they saw his shirtless promo with Michael Cole as "sabotage, but if it was a test, he passed it." Sullivan himself said he liked doing the promo and saw it as them looking to add more depth to his character. He was given specific instruction to breath heavy through my nose and the verbiage.

A point that was hammered home was that he was treated well by both the WWE office and a locker room, and it wasn't a case of bullying.

    From Fightful Select.

Sounds like he has issues but isnt making excuses for his actions. Hopefully he can move on, grow as a human and sort himself out.

My only slight grip is if they reunite people will be hoping for a TLC match again and both have said they won’t compete in them again and Edge says his neck problems started over TLC match’s

Doubtful we'll see them in a TLC match. Keep in mind that most people would just want to see a rehash of E&C, Hardy Boyz, and Dudley Boyz but you'd never get that now. No point in them doing it with anyone else either.

I can't be the only one that wishes these guys would stay retired , They all did well to get out while they did , I loved them in there prime and no interest in seeing them as they are

Ive no problem with Edge or any old timers coming back provided the put soneone over that needs it.

Roman vs Edge will be a decent feud but I dont want Edge as a world champion in 2021, same way I didn't want Goldberg getting the strap a few years back.

That said WWE have booked themselves into a corner with how they build stars. They need Edge vs Roman as its the best option the have.

Id prefer Drew vs Roman and let Edge put over Adam Cole. It would instantly out Cole on the map.

I'd prefer Edge and Christian singles runs and pairing up as needed myself.

    No chat here I know.

But I’m completely done with all these returns at this stage. I’m saying that as someone who really loves both E&C. The rumble last week highlighted so clearly just how stale the roster is. Everyone has been around RAW/SMACKDOWN for years and years.

If you offered me a fully fit HBK, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold as this stage I wouldn’t be one bit interested.

Somebody pointed out on Twitter Tyler Bate/Pete Dunne absolutely stealing the show at Takeover Chicago happened 4 years ago. They should be running the shop at this stage.

WWE are incapable of producing new stars. They are now looking towards the past. They did once have that amazing ability to refresh the roster with huge stars. They lost that.

Think back to WWF 1990. They had Hogan, Warrior, Savage etc. Fast forward 5 years it was completely different. Fast forward another 5 years and they had the rock and Steve Austin and a completely different tone with the Attitude era.

    What happened like?
Why aren't we in another boom. Last one was 29 years ago. It can't be a case of "no one has that star power" either.

WWE as a company are in a boom, they're making money hand over fist. Wasn't this one of their most profitable years ever?

With regard to stars, just gonna paste what i've already said in this thread before.
... They could make stars, they don't want to because a star means power (negotiating, marketing etc.) that can be viewed as separate and apart independent to WWE.

they want WWE and their universe to be the star with lots of interchangable characters that they control and replace without it affecting WWE

    .....

They've ( they being Vince and his yes men - I'd hope HHH and Stephanie can see the flaws) made the decision to make WWE the star and not the individuals, as I said before, they want interchangable characters to fill roles for them.

They don't want any star to be bigger than the product, they saw what happened to WCW (doomed by catering to superstars egos) and they experienced losses when their guys became stars and left, leaving them in the lurch.

We keep saying they need stars. They keep signing billion dollar deals.

Maybe we just don't know what we're talking about.

I know what you are saying. WWE just had their most profitable year. They also laid off so many in April at the start of the pandemic to achieve that tho.

By boom period I mean that when wrestling is so white hot it's fallen over to pop culture, it's everywhere. I remember walking down the road in the late 90s as a kid and seeing Austin 3:16 shirts everywhere! :p
Not only was Austin around The Rock was too. Two of the biggest stars ever at the helm of this unreal bull run. RAW was pulling in more ratings than the NFL. Now? they are loosing viewers. Wasn't it the lowest rated Raw ever a few months ago?

Like, what I mean is how come there wasnt a 3rd run? like 10 years ago or 5 years ago? Why does WWE have to pull in former stars to boost ratings? why isn't there the next Rock or Austin currently on the roster?

Only my opinion but when I think of stars I always go back to the late 80s. Everyone was over then while hogan, warrior etc were the mega stars. Like the bushwackers could walk out and get an unreal pop. Printing money in merchandise in their own right (nothing compared to hogan of course)

There is less people watching wrestling now than ever in history.

The reason WWE is doing so well financially is because its never been easier to access merchandise. You could live in a cave in the back of the beyonds on some remote island in the south Atlantic and could order just about anything you want.

I remember in the 90s, Roches Stores in Waterford was the only place you could get a WWF t-shirt and even at that they were often sold out. I was wrestling mad and the only real wrestling related stuff I had access to were the figures and wrestling belts and it wasn't through a want of the mother and father trying.
