The problem is that Trumpism which is now essentially it's own sordid seperate sideshow has gotten totally entangled with Republican policies, which gives off a bit of a sordid stink presently.

Honestly think they've seriously damaged their party long-term by going for the short term fix in riding the Trump wave.

As you say, they're now seen as wrong due to that connection, which is probably a bit unfair but also a problem completely of their own making.

Austin Aries makes cm punk look like the new day in terms of personality. Any story I’ve ever read or heard about him, he’s a pain in the ass to work with. The way he acted in the main event of an impact PPV should have gotten him blackballed from wrestling. I mean Jim cornette who is never shy about his feelings on many people in wrestling, will more often than not compliment those same people in some way. He’s had serious issues with HBK in the past but he still can acknowledge he was gifted in the ring. Austin Aries in one of the few he doesn’t ever do that with.

I honestly don’t remember when he was even last mentioned in any way. Until you mentioned his name I’d forgotten he was still with WWE.

He wasn't released last year when the WWE were releasing everyone including his father and tag team partner it just seems odd that they would keep him on and not even use him as a jobber.
