Moved into a property a few months ago that had an old shed.

Was clearing out the shed, and came across this leaf blower Makita BBX7600

Reviews online it seems to be a good product, however this one has seen better days.

Wonder is it worth bringing to a shop to get fixed up or ready for the skip. The engine seems to move freely (not start) on a slow pull of the cord, and it has oil.

The seems to be a loose fuel feed line but apart from dirt and rust, can't see much else wrong with it.

    Whats the options here?

Probably only worth it if you can have a go at fixing it yourself.
Have you tried putting fuel in it yet. If it's old it probably needs a 25:1 fuel mix.
When you say there is oil in it - where is that? A 2-stroke only uses oil in the petrol.

Hey. Its a 4stroke so has its own full tank and feed so no petrol oil mix.

There is a loose pipe with may be the fuel feed, but didnt get a chance to look into fixing it.

you're right - it is a 4-stroke. I hadn't noticed the oil filler. I think that loose pipe is for the surplus fuel when priming.

OP do you have the blue cover that goes over the engine? Has someone else started to take it apart then given up?

The blue cover is in the shed too, but wasn't attached. The previous owner of the house was into his DIY, but unfortunately not very good at it.
