    For the most part no, but that depends on the circumstances of the disconnection. There also tends to be a line of communication between councils and the local ESB staff so it could easily be found out or checked up on

    Having read your previous thread, you won't need to worry about them finding out because ESB will request proof of planning to carry out the new connection, which you won't be able to provide hence no power. Won't get past application stage
