There is a 0 missing from the end of the asking price or it's a fake/scam advert. You just cannot buy even a shed of a 3 year i20 for that sort of money but yet some people still get blinded by the cheap price.

Has some battle scars but it's a six cylinder 5 series with more than 5 months test for less than a grand! If the scrapes are confined to the front and rear bumpers it could be tidied up for small enough money.
He’s not giving much away in the description!
Drivers seat looks like it’s seen a lot of miles or a very large driver.
Dealer seems to sell a lot of high end stuff too.

Seller has managed to drop 10,000 miles off the clock when converting from kilometres.

Best of luck with it. Lovely looking car
Is it the 120 or 150bhp engine?
Herself loved hers, but unfortunately it was rear ended after about 4 weeks of ownership and ended up going for an Alfa 159 with the same 150bhp engine
The Facebook group seems great too. I was in it for a while, but after she moved on the diesel one, I ended up leaving it

120bhp but I have plans to change that ;)

I’m looking out for a nice petrol 1.8t Saab 93 for bangernomics price or a little bit more but they’re like hens teeth, was reluctant to go with the diesel but might give them another look based on some of the comments on here.

Anything to look out for mechanically?

Have you joined the Facebook Saab owners of Ireland (Est 2105) group? Cars pop up for sale regularly and great advice given. They would point you in the tight direction on things to look out for too.

Is there any issue with posting my missus car in here as it's for sale?

    225/241...

At that stage it doesn't really matter, but still weird when people do this while posting nct cert with actual mileage.

Wouldn't write it off based on that, though.

I don't even understand why miles are still in use here tbh. They are gone for good while now.

Not at all, as long as it fits the criteria (NCT'd, under 2k and something you'd drive yourself) and once you declare it's your own car, instead of "Oh look at this amazing car I found folks!" :D

Very common to happen in parts of America. Tonnes of cars get like that one. I watch some Americans on YouTube from Texas and they do always bring cars in to garage or find some kind of cover when a hailstorm is announced.

1.8 Civic with test til the end of July, €999

This is the cheapest I've seen a half decent example.

New shape 1.4 diesel Fiesta, test til June and tax til May, €1750

270k miles but it looks fantastically clean for that mileage. Presentable little car for the money.

    Thoughts?

Very tidy looking low mileage Laguna 3 with test til September and tax til May. €1750

Alleged full history. Nice interior but I wouldn't fancy trying to keep it clean. One for FrankC21 perhaps

Hi Guys - what do you think about this? Fairly high miles, but long NCT. Need an automatic for the wife for a year or 2, daily drive is around 4 miles.

    Thanks

    Years test, 23k miles, €750

Its way too expensive, but I definitely would.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,917 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

I dont know is it too expensive? Definitely a future classic, looks tidy, new test. Arguably the colour is a shame, couldn't ask them to part with it for less than €500.

It's cool. A family member gave me one years ago, a black 98 one with 4 spoke alloys with really flat faces. Think I took it as opposed to it being scrapped, might have flogged it for two or three hundred. Probably another one on the "should have kept" list.

I don't know; its not exactly a mint example, the colour is crap, and they really aren't that nice to drive. Sure it will be a cool thing to have in 15 years time, but in the interim I think its value is close to nothing. Maybe 500 before a haggle would be more reasonable.

Don't get me wrong, I've had loads of them and there's a few that I wish I still had, including a van.
