This looks quite tidy. Is a 170 worth a small premium over the ubiquitous 140?

They have a dpf which can give problems and the injectors were a bit weak in them.

They'll remap to about 210bhp but I think it's advised to gut the dpf as it's much more prone to blocking up compared to more modern ones.

more or less the same but the octavias most likely have some slightly different ancillaries. There was some sort of a recall on some pd170 injectors across the vag range a good while ago.

I've driven a vrs pd with a stage 2. Some yoke to go but the power band is quite narrow in them.

Hard to know with this one. Everything seems good
Last change of ownership is 2012, so owns it for 8 years.
NCT is actually until June 2021. Even though the seller isn't adding on the Covid 4 months, the NCT site is.

Finally, the seller is registered with Donedeal since 2014 and they have 1 advert in that lifetime (not sure if that means 1 including the active 1, but definitely not a trader account anyway)

The Aero models are much sought after in the Saab scene and I'd say there are only a handful of them here that are Irish cars
They can also be remapped to around 250bhp quite easily

Supposed to do around 65-70mpg easily
Getting very rare now and hard to pick up good ones

Thats the only thing I saw as a negative alright. They are gorgeous alloys, but in a shocking bad state
