When you factor the 10 months tax and maybe a few quid off the asking that A6 is almost free!

Does a car not have to be 30 years old to get a classic insurance policy?

I would skip them altogether to be honest. They’re average at best.
I wouldn’t pay more than 2250-2500 of someone else’s money for a really clean 08, but as said they’re not worth paying over the odds for.

Regularly done a 600klm round trip in one and between the road noise and cross wind on a winters dark evening we were happy to get something bigger and safer at the time to replace it. The aygo the wife had was bought from her family member at a good price so not a car we went looking for

Almost 200k kms on that one; I like Toyotas, but that's a grim place to sit for 200k kms, Strata or not.
