    Prefacelift e46 320d touring

    Looks clean enough
Change of ownership this September could be for tax reasons though as that'd tie in with the tax till February
    Asking €875

Both of these could most likely get on a classic insurance policy too now that they're 20 years old.

    That audi looks very promising.

When you factor the 10 months tax and maybe a few quid off the asking that A6 is almost free!
    Looks genuine too.
Super find if it checks out.

Absolutely fantastic find, that A6! Brilliant, proper bangernomics.

Love the interior in the 3 series too!

What kinda price should it make?. Prices for Toyota Auris seem quite strong from a lot of sellers. Been looking for a petrol Auris of something similar for Mrs T.

Does a car not have to be 30 years old to get a classic insurance policy?

Not sure a dealer would be expected to include a warranty with such a car either

I've ways gotten one. They have to give you some sort of warranty.

    No that's the tax.

Some companies give for cars 15 years or older.

Any ideas which companies will insure a 15year old as a classic

I would skip them altogether to be honest. They’re average at best.
I wouldn’t pay more than 2250-2500 of someone else’s money for a really clean 08, but as said they’re not worth paying over the odds for.

    Carole Nash, autoline.
Depends on the car and such.

Carole Nash wouldn't cover me on a 95 as didn't have a garage, Autoline did though. Carole Nash said garage required if in Dublin.

You need to have a 'normal' car insured too.

Yeah, they really need to be colour coded to look right.

Wife had an aygo years ago
    Big trouble with the ecu
    Clutch cable snapped also
    Radio stopped working aswel
Wasn't too old at that stage either

I was passenger in a 190 bhp vvtL-i conversion aygo last year and scared the life out of me

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,209 ✭✭✭FionnK86

Are Aygos better insulated than MK1 Yaris?

    My ‘01 Yaris at 4K RPM at 120 km/h & I think I’ve hearing loss.

Worse. Plus engine is way louder too. It’s all kinda fun though.

    Aygo is worse again
Regularly done a 600klm round trip in one and between the road noise and cross wind on a winters dark evening we were happy to get something bigger and safer at the time to replace it. The aygo the wife had was bought from her family member at a good price so not a car we went looking for

It's a city car, on no way designed to go near a motorway.

I'd die inside if I had to commute in one....

  • Registered Users Posts: 73,447 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

The difference between an Aygo and an Up/Mii is staggering in terms of refinement.

What's a good diesel to look out for if you want good mpg and reliability bout 2k budget

Not doing big mileage, prob end up going petrol anyway

Almost 200k kms on that one; I like Toyotas, but that's a grim place to sit for 200k kms, Strata or not.
