    Unmolested Bora Sport shocker!

Test til June, same owner since 2015, looks quite tidy - €1200

I like this. Seems very genuine

Thats a very nice Rover 25, for sure. But it's big brother, the Rover 75 would be my ideal in the rover line up....but they do not appear here very often. IMHO, they were a fine car, and very much underestimated.

    Well you're in luck

Very rare see a tdi 150bhp bora these days. That's a great find.

Yeah, it’s a bit of a survivor alright.

    Are Boras still cool?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,932 ✭✭✭selectamatic

    The coolest :P

In all seriousness they're starting to get thin on the ground and if kept half tasteful they're a nice looking car, they look their age but in a good sort of way. Clean 130bhp and 150bhp tdi's will be worth a bit in years to come.

The b6 passat and jetta have filled the gap as the rough n ready daily driver and in the agri spec town lapping scene.

    That belongs in a museum

Yes that's a fairly clean and fresh looking one all right. And so is the price. Its the basic model though, and not the rover 75 cdti connoisseur Automatic , which was the higher spec model.
Thanks for posting it in any case..:D

Is that Corolla definitely a tsport? It doesn't seem to have the tsport instrument cluster or steering wheel.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,917 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

Only thr facelift t-sport Corollas got the nice instrument cluster, the pre facelift one was the same as the 1.4/ 1.6 cars. If you look closely though, it has an 8200rpm redline so definitely a t-sport.

Standard optitron dials on a Corolla are backlit bright white. The T Sport has red dials.

Seems cheap coming from a stealer?
    Anybody any experience of them?
Mixed reviews online but just the usual stuff you’d expect from people buying 10+ year old cars without checking them out.

I changed my mind about a purchase with them upon reading the reviews....

I’d definitely have my eyes wide open if I was looking at his stock but same goes for any small time dealer I suppose.

With the mileage on it, it's rather pricey.

    Do you think so?
I wouldn’t consider over 300k km on a Mazda to be off putting.
I’m not in the market but a cheapish wagon for somebody, no?

332k would be very high. Mazda engines aren't known for longevity.

300,000km on a car, not just the engine.
    Its worth €500, tops.

It’s survived this long but be aware of head gasket issues on the K Series.

How much will my ford fiesta cost if I sell it, 2008 250k km mileage 1.2 petrol.

I've just found out that I am going to be a father and I am thinking if I should change my fiesta for a bigger car.

Get an estate, much easier dealing with buggy and other bits.

Thanks man, Really don't know what's gonna be like with a pregnant missus and later a baby in a fiesta.

I'd be looking at likes of Octavia, focus or Mondeo, megane or if budget allowed likes of crossover like kadjar etc....

Obviously there are many crossovers so worth a look too.

It’s only a baby. As long as you’re sensible in your choice of buggy you don’t actually need a new car.

    Congratulations too.

Get a Toyota MR2 and a good solid roof rack.

I don’t think an MR2 has the fixing points for a roof rack

    Some technical reason.
